@Deicide:
Well, throw enough predictions from enough people, and someone will eventually hit the jackpot.
I was among the ones who predicted Ace's death. It still caught me off-guard when it happened. Also, many people thought Whitebeard would die. Many predicted Ace would die. Very few imagined that both would die.
Well I was one of the few that predicted both would die. Wanted Ace to die more so I will admit but that's what predictions are about. To be clear the only ppl who thought WB wouldn't die were the ppl who thought Oda would never kill a character under some misguided faith in a nonexistent interview or possible trauma from all the other times they thought a character died.
Nobody is 100% certain of a prediction. It wouldn't be a prediction then and I'm sure not everyone can be confident in that particular prediction since Oda has trolled the fandom with past character "deaths".
The predictions I brought up weren't really a situation of throwing a bunch of shitty predictions against the wall and seeing which would stick. Go to the next nakama thread for that, well actually no since none will stick.

Agreed, but the war was still Amazing through. It's when people act like some stuff wasn't predictable. I din't get Crocs motive of saving Luffy either. Does he want to join Luffy or something???
The war had it's good and great parts as well as the boring, poor pacing, dragged out parts. Ups and downs mostly. It was only until Ace died that I wanted it to go another 50 chaps. That was when the war really started for me.
Croc's choices befuddled me as well but him helping Luffy is better than him secretly being born with a vagina. The former hurts his character and shows he's gonna change the latter kills his character.
