Hello everyone, as I've mentioned before I'm into cosplay too! We have a group over here called "Mutiny Go! Cosplay" and I'm the crew's Nico Robin! (She's my speciality). I have some photos but I don't want to have to keep re-uploading them all over the net so you can see them at my deviantART.

I've done Enies Lobby so far, with only two cons a year I'm limited but I've got plans for Arabasta and Skypeia versions in the upcoming months.

Yeah, you just need to make sure you can do the boots if you do Enies Lobby. I've seen so many online and they just aren't high enough!

The lighting isn't the greatest, it almost bleaches out your skin. Also we don't get to see much of the outfit, which is a shame cause you probably put a lot of work into it.

Yeah, unfortunatley we didn't manage to get many good shots at the con - and your absolutely right! Wait till you see the boots, I worked SO hard on them, they're made out of lycra on a boot base so they fit nice and snug. Luckily we have a photoshoot coming up at the beach soon so I'll have plenty more pictures of better quality to share

Haha that's actually the second time I've heard that! Someone else who saw the pictures on my DevART said they were scary, and looked ice cold! I'm sorry for scaring you

(And yes, I always get asked if I wear coloured contacts or something… but no. They're natural. I consider myself lucky :D)

Nah I figured they were natural. It is actually hard to get that colour in contacts. They are pretty. And it is not some much the eye colour, but the intensity of your stare that is creepy.

Robin always had more pronounced nose & eye lines. I like her that way better. More than Nami

Aww thanks! That makes me happy! If I can do my favourite character justice then I'm a very happy RobinChan!
I always thought her eyes were quite intense too, they're an odd blue.

I agree that your eyes fit the character perfectly, but disagree that Toei changed them from brown to blue. But that's just me.

A friend of mine can't wear contacts since his eyes are too bad, so I honestly don't expect people to be THAT accurate when they cosplay, your height is something you can't easily change without wearing HUGE ugly platforms, and your eye color can be changed, but is it necessary?? No, not at all. I think you look fine with beautiful blue eyes as Robin, you look absolutely wonderful!

Any plans to do her Skypiea outfit? That's probably my favorite of hers. Tho the pattern on the shirt would be a nightmare, I can't even flippin' draw that thing.

Yeah I mean I'm 5'7" or something like that, a lot taller than most females I know but not exactly as tall as Robin. Although I'm ok with that. Thank you so much your your lovely and supportive comments! It makes me really happy to know people like it as much as I do!

Sure do! Next planned is Arabasta as our group are all going in their characters Arabasta outfits, then I will either do Skypei or Thriller Bark. Rest assured I have plans to do both!!
