Yes, but it's still a very questionable fetish, even for a ghost ^^
And its not like she doesn't have her fair share of fetish without a ghost.
Berserk

Her position there was more a part of Guts' torment, but it was certainly one of the more disturbing moments of it and definitely left an impression.
-
Think so? I can't remember him ever flashbacking on that scene. Then again, I'm one of the hasi-it-only-read-once dudes so…
Farnese however was pretty shaken by this. -
I don't mean an impression on Guts, I mean on myself as a reader. Guts has to deal with more fucked up shit in his daily life, so that's nothing in comparison. Character-wise, it left more of a mark on Farnese (she does flash back to it a couple times, herself).
-
That makes more sense :D
-
The Ghost was making her act on her inner feelings without self control.
Kind of like alcohol.
Farnese is a masochist/sadist, and she wants to jump Gutts' bones.
-
Griffith is reincarnated. He is now a mortal?
Damn Kushan, disturbing Jerome and Luca's reunion. Tch
MARIOAzan to the rescue cue ceremonial trumpets … MUSTACHE FRENZY!!!! -
@JERK:

She didn't realize it so blatantly, though. She probably knew it, before, but deluded herself in religious rationale and such a revelation being brought to the surface so violently really shook her up.
-
Ahh…Zodd is now a unicorn. Pfft He should have reattached that broken horn.
-
I always thought he looked awkward with one horn, considering the sheer size of each.
-
It is awkward. .
Jerome…you lucky you!!
Awww...Slutty Nina survived...OFF WITH HER HEAD!!!!
-
i'm another one of those "one time only" readers and some stuff I don't even remember but than when someone here gives exposition onto it, I go "oh yeah" the only thing I remember from past berserk chapters was that guts fought a giant fairy, a fake eclipse accured, he fights zodd and tells rickert of griffith's betrayal, The whole bit with the trolls and going to flora's house, the first time he used the berserker armor oh did I mention the invasion of the kushan empire….I think I remembered most of the important stuff, I may just re-read it again and not read any of the new chapters, maybe by the time I catch up again the series will feel new and fresh.

Talking about Griffith, one thing that struck me is how "permisive" the other 4 members of the God Hand are acting with him. He just enters the God Hand, and immediately after is reicarnated in a corporeal body (which possesses supernatural infinite charisma), acts his own way, does everything for his dream,
! And he ends up fulfilling it.
As I see it, not only do the other God Hand members approve of it, but seems like they also support him (with their apparitions in the physical world every time Griffith does something important).
Shouldn't Griffith have some ""obligations"" as a God Hand member? Shouldn't he be there, "watching the wheel of fate turn", manipulating events, and go wathever someone demands a sacrifice via a Behelit?
OOOOR, maybe the God Hand are using him to unite the different dimensions?
(You have permision to call me dumb and everything. I'll take it like a man!)
-
I think that either each God Hand did something similar to the world when they joined or that Griffith is a particularly special case. The latter makes more sense, seeing as it would make for a tidier series, but both guesses are pretty baseless at the moment.
-
I dont think God hands have any grudges or issues with each other, they all have diffrent goals and pleasures, they might respect each other and even enjoy others presence because they are way too far above anyone else.
God hands have diffrent desires and ambitions and I think they all benefit of Griffiths aims and they gain even more influence in world because weakening barriers and they have easier to time to manifest in mortal world and send their avatars to influence affairs of world.
Griffith always wanted to rule, he wanted his own kindgom, status and he wanted to be in top. Hes strive for this ambition was diminished by his time with Band of Falcons, he enjoyed companion ship with Guts and others so much that he was willing to put his ambition to hold and he actually started to value his companions more than his ambitions.
When he was abandoned by Guts he was shocked and dismayed, he tried to forcibly prevent Guts leaving and when he got humiliated in battle and Guts leaving him it just broke him. Then he forcibly chased his ambitions again and recklesly went ahead with his princess seduction plan and actually slept her…and results were catastrophic.
Later when he was rescued after one year of grotesque torture and he witnessed how Caska and Guts were now in relationship when he was nothing but a living husk it was just a final nail. Eclipse betrayal was his ultimate decision to sacrifice Band of Hawks for his ambition.
Griffith is very humane person, you could almost understand him and pity him...almost.
-
Griffiths one big mistake is that he never told Guts that he regards him a friend. He made one step into that direction when he asked Guts to kill Julius instead of ordering him to do it. Then he made two steps back when talking to the Princess. Not a word of his speech about what a friend must be to him is true. The only friend he has in the world does not fit into the category he speaks of. And tragic part is that he doesn't realize this himself. Griffiths unability to tell a friend when he sees one started the downward spiral. This is all too human indeed.
-
I'm not getting one thing
What is the Girl that "changes emotions" doing and how does that affect the battlefield? -
The Godhand don't really have much of an agenda, they just like to fuck around with mortals. Which creates misery and evil which allows them to be.
-
I'll never pity that bastard Griffith. As humane and well written as he is, and as much as I thought "Oh, SHIT, this is gonna get sick" when he was about to be mercilessly tortured, I still see him as an omnipresent bastard. His actual form is that of someone who doesn't get surprised by anything, is perfect, undefeated, charismatic. . .And all because his dream was to have a castle and be the hero of the masses. He is human. He is well done. But I hate him, and I want Guts to impale him next time he sees him. Not gonna happen, but I'd have a good laugh at it.
And yes, the God Hand looks like the kind of godlike beings that just stand there and watch the shit go down, and comment on it. "Oh, marvelous, this guy is struggling against fate!". But maybe they DO have an agenda. I mean, they haven't been really explored at all. The merging of the worlds may be something the whole GodHand is working on, and not only Femto's idea.

The God Hand just plays poker after their dramatic appearances.
anyways
I'm not getting one thing
What is the Girl that "changes emotions" doing and how does that affect the battlefield?Who are you talking about?
-
I don't think you're still on that part, so I may be spoiling you, lol
-
I'm still in the part where
AbsolLocus,RhydonGrunbeld andUnknownRakshas pledged their allegiance to Griffith.I have to mention this, Unicorn Zodd vs. Guts fight was a heart stopper. DAYUM!

! http://read.mangashare.com/Berserk/chapter-170/page021.htmlThis… is very, very good piece of art.I ought to read Berserk.

I've always loved this spread.

This is disturbing, but it's awesome. -
Berserk's art is so outstanding that every panel could be linked here in example of magnificent art.
Berserk's art blows all other mangas and comics out of the water.
-
The art during the (Shiva) Ganishka vs Neo-Hawks part of the story is the best in the entire series, IMO.
I particularly like <warning, spoiler="">this image.</warning,>

agree
! Seriously, the best part was when the barrier between the worlds vanished and all these fairy tales creatures popped up. The chapter contained almost no story progress, but I absolutely didn't care, because It looked so freakin fantastic that my jaw dropped and I ended up staring at the spreads for like 10 minutes.
I don't know jack shit about art, but even I can see that Berserk pretty much fucks everyones ass in that department. -
! I'm not gonna link them, but Zodd releasing his form against Guts in the snow is one of my favorites, along with the moment Guts riding Zodd through the Lightning is another (maybe even my all time favorite?). Agreed, just about any page or spread can be posted as an example of magnificent art.
! Also, Grunbeld's apostle form against Berserker armor Guts was amazing, especially the fan coloring I saw (and you can find via google images). -
The God Hand just plays poker after their dramatic appearances.
anyways
Who are you talking about?
I think he means Sonia.
-
Yeah, Sonia
What exactly is she doing in the battlefield?
I don't get it -
She's clairvoyant. She gives a little glimpse of what's going to happen which is a big help in Griffith's campaigns.
-
New chapter spoilers.

New chapter soon?
hopeful face
-
So here come the new chapters. I really hope by the time of the next break this arc with either be over or have turned into something that's a lot better than it is so far.
-
Miura isn't reknown for his breathtaking pace.
-
So, can we expect 2-3 weeks worth of Berserk?
Or am I being extremely optimistic?

He usually drops 2 or 3 chapters in a row then goes away for several months.

If I'm not mistaken is this kid and light person mentioned in the spoilers that strange kid we saw right before they arrived in Vritannis?
If so this is pretty major. -

If so this is pretty major. That girl from beach that looked like Caska's daughter? I think it would be great if she would be appearing in this chapter. She was very adorable with Caska.

No, you're right. He is nude the first time you see him.

Either you need an anatomy lesson or you're blind.
