@Airflow101:
You do realise the reason that thread regularly goes off topic is because every possible aspect of every possible candidates has been discussed to death. It's only fun when there's new information or when AGOG writes 5000 words on Perona's fashion sense.
Same holds true for most of the other threads as well, even the latest chapter thread suffers even though its nothing BUT new material.
People tend to mostly make one liners that has nothing to do with the discussion, somehow the person arguing a certain point finds himself having to answer stupid questions by 12 individuals who weren't even interested in the answer but just messing around.
Not that this is not fun, I enjoy it most of the time but for the rare occasions I do want to talk seriously and attempt to reach a conclusion, I want to be able to do it at a place where I can get positive feedback and constructive criticism… You know?
Thats why I think some form of Closed User group might be helpful.
Though, as IrishLuigi points out, it could lead to something horrid if class system intervenes or people start lobbying or whatever. I am trying to find a solution to this problem that avoids these obstacles so that whoever is incharge may take notice and hopefully implement it if possible.
