Why? There's still that swordsman from Blackbeards crew, the ex-impel down chief.
I wonder who's the better swordsman though, Mihawk might have the title but the ex-chief has been locked up for some time now.
I also don't think that Zorro will get the title by Mihawk. They'll maybe fight and he will win, but their other strong swordmen in one piece he also has to beat to become the strongest.

I got a feeling Mihawk isn't the best swordsman, probably only the best KNOWN swordsman. the best swordsman is most likely going to be one of those elders, the bald one that shows holding a sword. they are going to have strength that most likely wont be matched by anyone ever seen cept for luffy's crew, all the way at the end when they discover the true history, and are about to change the world and has to take down the 5 elders in order to end the World Government. anyways..i predict bald old man with sword = best swordsman in the one piece world, just kept as a secret unlike Mihawk

That would seem like a huge waste of hype on Mihawk. Oda has been prepping Mihawk to lose to Zoro for hundreds of chapters, and I find it odd that people think he won't beat Mihawk and gain his title. You don't become the best until you beat the best. If Zoro's last fight isn't against Mihawk, then it will be his next to last fight.

Luffy not ransacking at least one civilian ship or town. I mean nami stealing all the wallets of the people who saw her off was good and yea them stealing some gold from sky island was priceless!! But they really need to hit some civilians up for some money.
I think he may do stuff way more outrageous like his father because Dandan said she would support Luffy no matter what kind of pirate he becomes. I think…. no I know Luffy will become a pirate as hated as Roger. I have faith in him.

Aside from the CP9 bit I can't think of anywhere that power levels are used, well accept the marine ranking system, but even that isn't very accurate.

Well we have as you said the marine ranks and then the pirate bounties to somewhat measure a fighter's capabilities. But they are not very reliable as often special circumstances need to be considered for them (for example: Chopper has a 50 beri bounty because he is mistaken for a mascot while Smoker ,who is most likely Vice Admiral level, is only a Commodore because of his headstrong attitude)
This is perfectly fine because we have some kind of orientation but fights still retain a lot of suspense. However if it would for example come down to who has more haki wins the fight (á la dbz) tactics would be thrown out of the window and fights would become boring quickly.

Haki becoming hugely important to all battles, haki being completely random in the ways you can apply it (SWOT, and BLEACH anyone?), haki to not have interesting and logical extensions the better you get at each kind, and Kings haki not to have more applications than just knocking out fodder. Oh and having too much talk about haki would be annoying as well.

That would be sweet, actually. Should be a display of how unpredictable the New World could be. Of course, that might be the end of the series if that actually happened, but still..O_o

Sabo actually being dead. Moria actually being dead. The pirates never going to these islands - Island with Minkmen, Island with Dwarfs, and Island with Giants..
Especially the Minkmen one.. would be majorly disappointed.

You are correct. They along with Dwarfs, longarms, longlegs, and snakenecks were first mentioned on Duvals slavery list.
Their is a possibility that we have seen them already. If I recall their are a few Minkmen dancing in the background behind Foxy in one picture.

Just save the image to your computer and upload it to imageshack. Make sure that when you use it on a forum, use the URL called "Direct Link."
You should have no problems after that. -
Would hate to see the rest of the crew not getting the recognition they deserve. The captain has broken into Impel Down, Eneis Lobby and made a name for himself in the war. Slowly but surely, i hope the rest of the crew will get their own recognition they rightfully deserve if they're on board the ship of the future pirate king.

No. Have you actually read the manga till now? You would know there are no signs of a new crew member as of yet, just a bunch of theories..

Maybe it's just my take on it, but the current Straw Hats has all had MANY chapters of development. A brand new character could seem relatively flat compared to this, unless Oda overdoes himself to make an extremely quirky member like he did with Brook (whose quirkiness at times seems forced).
An already introduced character would at least have had some development and/or establishment of personality, bringing him/her more on "level" with the other crew members.However, I wouldn't mind a completely new character joining - just stating what could be the advantages of having an old character join.
