Which is better? What do you like and dislike about it?
I like Hunter probably better. Exciting characters and good story line.
Naruto has good story line but future arcs get too confusing and messed up.

I like them about equally. Hunter Started off excellently, but the Chimera Ant arc is annoying as hell to me right now. As for Naruto, I've enjoyed it pretty much the same the whole way through. Neither are up to the par set by my favorite Mangas, though. Then again, it takes a certain amount of being good to match up to Kenshin, FMA, Fruits Basket or even Excel Saga.

Sorry, I lost grip of both anime.
Naruto - I couldn't find out what is fun about it.
HxH - The Thai release is very slow and I can't find the fun of it as well after being crazy about it from Thai on-air one that got cut out when it comes to the OVA part.
So neither is better than the other one for me. One Piece is the best for me currently. -
Well I can't really say which is better since I've never sat down and read or watched HunterXHunter, but it sounds interesting none the less. Currently I think Narutos alright. I don't think I can vote yet though ^^;

I'm sorry, but I found HxH to be BORING AS HELL.
I only watched 6 episodes, but… still, that's 6 bloody episodes! Something should have caught my interest by then! Maybe it's just the HxH anime, as I haven't read the manga, but still...
So, yeah, my vote goes to Naruto.

i like hxh a lot for the first 3 vols. its intresting. but i think i like naruto a little bit more….......................but only a little.

I vote for Hunter x Hunter.
I read Naruto up to when Sasuke left Konoha on his own, but afterwards it didn't really interest me.
I read Hunter x Hunter up to v19 and planning to read it when more Tanko comes out.
Lately I feel that I don't want to read Manga weekly but read Tanko instead. I can have better feeling that way. The only manga I'm reading weekly now is… Bleach?

I like both, even though they both aren't my favorites. Infact I'm at the beginning of both, just because I'm not so obsessed that I read ahead of the american translation; but I'm interested enough in both to own a graphic novel of each.
I like them in their own ways:
Naruto for:
*Naruto's harebrained schemes and antics
*Kakashi
*Action-packed scenesHunterXHunter for:
*Characters (^^)
*How the job of a Hunter is explained so I can understand it.
*Fun and varied adventuresSo in my opinion, I like both equally. (Either that or I chickened out from likeing one more than the other… Nah... I can't think of why I'd like one more than the other... I'm such a clueless loser)

Anyway, I found Hunter x Hunter interesting from the start. I think the tranquil feel of the first part of the show sets up the rest of the series quite well.

i think naruto is somewhat better b/c like..hxh kinda bored me in the beginning..i liked celestial tower and hated the auction arc..and i liked G/I once the dodgeball game started..and the chimera arc..i am liking it..and even though ppl complain about the art..i still like them..b/c the way togashi draws fight scenes are amazing…buti do wish soemtimes his drawins are good as the ones in the tankobans..plus the relases are slow which kinda annoys me..but i still enjoy it nonetheless..and tagashi is a big fan of naruto

My biggest complaint about the Chimera Ant arc is not the artwork. It's the way the plot is being presented: it's slow paced, and incredibly combat oriented; I think there are more battles in this arc than in the entire rest of the series. And they aren't good fights, either; they are boring, and seem to only exist so that Togashi can indulge himself in making random nen abilities. The whole thing reeks of DBZ, and that's even without considering that the King is a complete cell ripoff.

[snapback]87531[/snapback]i can't say it in a better way. i totally agree. even if from the beginning to the end of greed island, hxh was excellent, now it's kinda crappy. and i don't think it"ll be better (cf yu yu hakusho). naruto has always been very cool with me. i watched the anime till the end of the chuunin exam without reading the manga and it was magic. but since i read the manga, i find the anime boring.
i like the naruto graphics, kishimoto art is clean.

man naruto started well, climaxed then became bullshit. i enjoyed it while i was reading but when i started reading the weekly chapters, it got worse and worse… maybe the translations made it sound retarded or something i dont know but hunter x hunter on the other side! whoa that manga is awesome. i think it has one of the best story lines ive read and the theory of nen is just interesting. my vote, definitely hxh
