Seems like Crocodile is the winner by far…but Hancock is in 2nd place!
I haven't seen Bleach but are the villains really that stale?
-
Some Bleach Villains are cool, with interesting personalities and abilities, others are the typical shonen cliche villains (for example: Aizen is that bad guy who is totally powerful and "had all planed" type of personality)
About Lucci, well i don't clearly think he used his devil fruit in a "unique way", he just learned the rokushiki and use it with his DF. That doesn't mean his character design as a whole is bad, it's kinda creative in a way + the fact of hattori adds to the whole.

Only the main one. Everyone else is pretty colorful, if killed off way too early.
-
Haven't read bleach in a long time but I clearly remember some pink haired nigga being as bad as Aizen. An espada or something.

He's called Siazel Aporro Grantz. His abilities are kinda creative… But pink hair..X.x

Well obviously just look at this, He's the only one of the two who can pull of their look.
I mean Luchi was a decent straightman, but we all know that Hattori was the true heart and soul of the duo.
There was no duo to begin with.
Current CP9 is the strongest one ever because of Hattori, the guy should be with the gorousei, seriously. -
He obviously is, he's the other form of that Ghandi looking elder.
It's the perfect cover, who would suspect the dove of peace:ninja:

Lucci showed signs of being an actual character during most of Water 7, but after chapter 345 his personality dissappeared for good and he proceeded to be a walking brick for around 8 volumes. His character is absolute garbage.
-
I dunno what to say his character garbage? Could say that for Moria smilling and laughing like a maniac all day is not a good character. To get back on topic i voted for Crocodile, he is by far the best shichibukai and the best main villain in the series so far. Neither Lucci or Moria or Enel come close to him.

Moria's a lazy guy who's pretty cunning and has a tragic past which made him really bitter towards blindly optimistic nobodies like Luffy, and he's also pretty prideful as a pirate and hates losing; one of the coolest parts about him is his GIGANTIC range of facial expressions.
Crocodile's an underhanded, selfish, power hungry cruel motherfucker who failed as a rookie and has interesting unresolved grudges; he hates groundlessy idealistic bitches like Vivi the most.
Lucci…kinda likes killing. That's all there is to him.
I'm not trying to say any of these characters are anything but static and one-dimensional (no character in One Piece is), but still, some are clearly more likable, interesting, and fleshed out than others. And that's not even getting into designs and fighting styles.
Also Blackbeard is the best shachibooki.

This>>>Moria:
it was in fact Hattori's real voice, and Hattori is the ventriloguist.
Lucci's voice is nothing but Hattori's.
Hattori is so great. -

Everyone has diffrent preferences but "a gigantic range of facial expressions" is imo not enough to make a good character.
That Crocodile hates Vivi is something he shares with many people on this board so i don't know why you think that's a bad thing. Just look at the topic of the previous chapter people started hating on Coby because he reminded them of Vivi with the crying and screaming about ending all the fights.
Lucci likes killing so what? Moria likes laughing. When i look at characters i look at them as whole and Lucci appeareance, fighting style, fights and story based around the fight is just way more enjoyable to me than Morias.
As i said previously though Crocodile owns both in all categories.
Blackbeard? Mr."sterotypical shonen i am the strongest there is and i will kill you all"?

I dunno wolfwood how about the people who actually read the latest chapters?

http://media.onemanga.com/mangas/00000002/000301242/08-09.jpgBlackbeard dialogue in these pages could aswell be from Perfect Cell out of DBZ or characters from other mangas.
-
Please explain how your minuscule brain processed my post as some sort of Crocodile bashing. I'm still in complete awe here.

I am sorry that english is not my prime language. This: "Crocodile's an underhanded, selfish, power hungry cruel motherfucker" did not sound exactly friendly to me but i see you meant it a good way for a villain.

So basicly because one single aspect of his entire character is stock, then you choose to disregard the metric fuckton of uniqueness in his character and claim that he's a stereotype?
Jesus christ man, Blackbeard as a character and how he is handled by Oda is probably the least cliche way of making a main villain in the entire shounen history.
-
Oh please don't give me that. If you think Blackbeard is a deep complex character so far than you should get out more and meet with some real people. Let's not kidd ourselves shonen mangas are not there for deep complex characters and Oda said himself that the series is aimed at 15 year olds and he always asks himself if he would like what he wrote if he was still 15.

Have i ever claimed that he was an extremly deep character? Seriously like people have said your reading comprehension is terrible.
All i've said is that the way Blackbeard has been handled has not been stereotypical, which you claimed that it had been.

Yes he is stereotypical shonen. You are not able to explain how this is NOT stereotypical shonen?:

http://media.onemanga.com/mangas/00000002/000301242/08-09.jpgstereotypical shonen villain :
-bishie.
-untouchable.
-hot.
-Polite, cruel but polite.
-or only cruel.
-can destroy the world with his finger.
-at first sight you say this guy is awesome coz he has superpowers that no one has.Teach :
-Ugly.
-didn't beat ace easily, was pawned two times.
-he's not even a badass looking guy.
-At first sight he doesn't look like a final villain at all (but giving the context you can guss)
-Gained his powers progressively.
… other things that i might forget. -
Yes he is stereotypical shonen.
I know that i'm going to come of as a bit of an ass now, which i'm really not trying to be. But if you dont really know what the words entail i suggest that you google them before hand.

http://media.onemanga.com/mangas/00000002/000301242/08-09.jpgSo i guess you are going of the 1% rule, I.e. that if one percent of the character is stock then no matter how original the other 99% are then he's a cliche and a stereotype.

… other things that i might forget.I compared him earlier to Cell from DBZ who is just as stereotypical and nothing like you said what a stereotypical villain is:
Cell :
-Ugly
-didn't beat Vegeta or Piccolo easily, was pwned two times.- he's not badass looking guy, more a ugly ass green spotted insect guy.
- gained powers progressively.

At least you don't start insult people if you disagree with someone unlike other people here.:getlost: Thanks for that but Blackbeards longest appeareance is the war/ impel down so far which is like 50% of his screen time and what we saw from his personalty and attidude is exactly stereotypical shonen. I wonder where you get the other 99% originality from? His short appereance in Jaya or the few panels before the strawhats were shoot up the knock up stream to skypia?
-
Mihawk, I <3 his character and skills. :w00t:
-
Kuma is my favorite Shichibukai, even though he is EXTREMELY fat.
-
Kuma is my favorite Shichibukai, even though he is EXTREMELY fat.
 he is not fat .. those are muscles (and iron probably)! moria is fat in a cute way .. jimbei is fat too .. in a boring way :ninja:
-
The Shichibukai are falling apart. Jinbei, Crocodile, and Blackbeard left. One of them leaving was already enough impact when Crocodile left, how are they supposed to handle two more people leaving? I think Hancock will probably get fired too since she attacked Smoker. Moria wants to become pirate king… so he has a reason to leave. Doflamingo is a sadist, so he probably will leave just for fun. So only Mihawk and Kuma are guaranteed to ally with the WG.
-
That's like Akianu getting fired or melting other marines… Unless he's immune to being fired... being magma and all.
-
Since I can't choose two, I'm not voting.
Mihawk and Dofla.
-
Since I can't choose two, I'm not voting.
Mihawk and Dofla.
This is the purpose of using the word 'Favourite'
-
:O there are more than seven
fine i choosePX-275
-
hmm voted for Crocodile , I liked him during the Albasta arc but after what he has done during this whole rescue Ace arc I like him even more. However I chose him over Doflamingo just because we have seen more of him in action , and I think he was the first major villain Luffy fought .
Doflamingo would be my second choice because well… a psycho wearing pink feather coat ..what's not to like
-
We can definetely tell Crocodile has benefited the most of the current arc.
-
-
No, Luffy did, hes the one who freed all the strong prisoners like Ivankov, Crocodile, Jinbei, Inazuma, and Mr. 2(Not really that strong).
-
We can definetely tell Crocodile has benefited the most of the current arc.
probably because he's not acting like a total asshole…like he did before
-
Crocodile, period.
-
My Favorite is Hancock
-
From best to worst:
- Crocodile
- Kuma
- Moria
- Mihawk
- Hancock
- Doflamingo
- Blackbeard

-
Just a bit curious but how come it says I can't vote? I activated my account…I'd go with Hawk-eyes! ^^
-
