Hmmm… Could be promising... maybe not. The success of it may bring the console itself under, so I'm not sure I'll support it yet. That, and third party support worth a damn.

This is seriously licensed by SEGA? How many of these do we need there's already a ton of them available and they all have the same games? There was one that can use the actual game carts though.

I think sega's last console was the dreamcast, for whoever asked.
A lot of my friends do actually believe Nintendo owns Sega, simply because Sonic is in Brawl and the Mario and Sonic games exist.

Why even bother? I mean with all the collection games out there this seems like a complete waste of time and money when you can get most of the games on one disc for 20 bucks. Now if they made something like this with Saturn games that you cant get anywhere else that would actually make me want to buy one.

It's worth noting that it's NOT made by Sega (simply licensed by them) and that it's also made by the same folks who made previous models for plug-and-play, as well as handheld, complete with butchered sound quality.

I've seen those ads. They were beyond terrible. Even as a kid, I knew the products those ads were selling were shit. I even remember the Home Shopping Network tried to shill these Plug-N-Play game systems as the best thing ever and safe for parents because the games were "non-violent".

Genesis 3 was licensed to Majesco to do since Sega of Japan brought down the hammer on making anything more on the Genesis to focus more on the Saturn.
