Ok so i live in america. this game has been released in the UK and theres no way i know of to get it shipped here. i tried amazon and it said it doesn't ship here. it was the amazon for the UK not here. does anybody know how i can get this game shipped to me? i'd really appreciate the help

nevermind. i don't think theres a version of it that will work for american tv format which is NTSC they only have PAL. i'll probably have to wait until america makes there crappy english version. BUT I SWEAR IF THEY MAKE EVERYTHING ENGLISH WHILE THE UK HAS THE ORIGINAL JAPANESE VOICES AND ENGLISH SUB TITLES IM GOING TO RAISE HELL!!!!

each to their own. I enjoyed the first one more than pretty much every other game released last year (aside from the likes of Spirit Tracks, Metroid Trilogy, Batman…sorta.)

For myself, I didn't really find running around the island fighting the same enemies again and again fun, or item hunting.
The cutscenes and so forth were good, but the underlying game mechanics I simply didn't like.

Yeah, I bet it gives you a stiffy knowing you guys got a game America didn't for a change. I wanna play it, but I don't consider it worth the importing price. I've seen videos, and while it seems like it'd be fun for OP fans it looks like a real repetitive game. I hope they eventually do something outside the Wii. We need some HD OP games.

And I think the Wii is fine for it. Maybe a PS3 release but I dunno. As long as the Wii stays the best selling console in Japan they'll be on there (or the DS)

Probably the same reason only the US got UA outside Japan. They're testing the various markets. UA didn't do well in America, so they didn't release UC there. So if UC does well in Europe you guys may very well strictly be getting future OP games, or if it did poorly it'll stick to being Japan exclusive.
But really, Bandai Namco shouldn't expect so much. They only released so many units of the game for crying out loud. I only ever saw one copy of UA, in a GameStop back when it first came out. I regret not grabbing it, but I just didn't know if I'd ever get a Wii or not.

^ This. I dont see Unlimited Cruise as a huge loss for my game collection. UA got real old real fast. I still havent beat it and I got it in 2008. The VS mode is crap and having to go back and collect all those items was such a pain and the rewards just werent worth it. The only think I liked were the boss fights but you had to go collect so much junk and charge those orbs just to play them that I just didnt care anymore. Ill pass on another one of those games until a One Piece fighter comes out. I dont know why they cant just make a One Piece version of Budokai or something like Naruto and Bleach have.

I would seriously prefer that it had the Funi dub on it.

Lol. I have never sold anything online before so I went to Amazon to check the prices and this seems to be worth alot of money. A new copy goes for 250 on there. I guess Ill have to hold onto this one. Sorry man.

Yeah, it's ridiculous online. Strange thing is I know for a fact a GameStop 30 miles from me is selling a used copy for $20. But don't blame me for saying as much as I want it, don't consider it worth the long trip to get.

LOL, I still haven't got it. The in-store clerk kindly offered to order me the 1St Unlimited Cruise into the shop. I went in-store and they deffo didn't have the Part 2, nor could they order it for me.
My bet is that this is a limited deal kinda thing. And that if it get left toooo late after the original UK release, you've never be able to buy it commercially :(

Think about Unlimited Cruise. Take away everything One Piece related and replace it with generic anime stereotypes. Would you still play it? The games are a bit on the uninspired side. I'd rather wait for a good One Piece game.

Hello there. I assume you've only seen the 4Kids dub of One Piece. I suggest you look into FUNimation's unedited One Piece dub before saying all dubs fail.

So, anyways… with this thread actually being about the Unlimited Cruise games... I found something really interesting on wikipedia. If you go to One Piece games, UC 1+2 have NA release dates. But I couldn't find anywhere else to verify. What do you guys think?

I'll admit the Funi dub was not as bad as the 4kids dub but i still say the original Japanese voices are the best
But the Funi dub didn't even say "okama" they came up with "oh come my way" thats just stupid and wrong they could aleast say "drag queen" or "cross dresser" which is the only think i can think of thats wrong with it for now.
Does anybody know anything else thats wrong with it?

Okay, you're either really misinformed or trolling. I'm going with the former. Funi has never once use Oh Come My Way in their dub. In the JAPANESE anime, Bon Clay being an Okama was censored. The ORIGINAL anime called him a ballerina instead of an Okama. Every Instance of Bon Clay saying Okama Way, was changed to Oh Come My Way in the anime, for which Funi used "Oh Dance Away". From Movie 8, we can see that Funi has NO problem calling Bon Clay a "crossdresser" because they did it numerous times in that movie. Proof:
