this was a good movie, I didn't know what to expect before I actually watched it, but it was good, and of course we all get a special cameo from Stan Lee! YAY!
anyone else watch it?

I heard it was bad. Sucks because I actually want to see it, it'll probably just wind up being the Hulk of 2005.
I thought it was pretty good. I still liked Batman better (since I'm more of a DC fan), but I didn't see much wrong with it really.
And yeah, Stan Lee cameos as Willy Lumpkin.
i heard the movie is actually a big commerical all for promoting the game and toys. but i still want to see it b/c i think the human torch is ahhsum..plus jessica alba is BEAUTIFUL (she should play nami or robin in a live action one piece movie if there is ever one)
I want to see the movie, though I rented the game, which was average, and bought the novelization of the movie. From what I saw, it's okay. Looks better than Daredevil, Elektra, and Catwoman.
And it could be worse, they could have just shown the first Fantastic 4 movie that wasn't even approved by Marvel.
I haven't seen it, but it looks great from watching the reviews on TV. But I'm not sure whether to go out and watch it. Who knows…

Dear god man no. Not that. Dr. Doom was a freaking CLOWN in that
It looks like another lackluster comic book movie, to me. It doesn't even help that it's been CONSTANTLY PROMOTED for the past month.
I agree.
Though I must admit, I've always pined for a Fantastic Four Burger King crown.
The movie was pretty good in my opinion.
Seeing Dr Doom go all electricky like Eneru was awesome.
If only he had his laugh….Yehahahaha!
My best friend saw it and told me it was awesome, so I ain't gonna listen to some stupid critic who probably never read the comic. I'll go see it.
I saw it a few hours ago. It was a great movie! I love The Thing! (in a fandom kinda way)
It's Clobbering Time!!!!
I like his trademark sppech.
I'm doubting if I want to see this, though. I mean, I like Fantastic Four well enough (dad liked 'em in high school, saved come comics, little Carly read 'em) but the commercialism latched on too hard and now I kind of get the Batman and Robin vibe from it. I'm hoping the movie doesn't have Thing nipples
I'm sure it'll be better than the one ten years ago tho'. I'm pretty sure Torch isn't a cartoon in this one
is it worth seeing? people say it's not but i think different. i made a pole to see if it was worth it or not, but they closed it because they said there was already a topic about it, and this is the topic, but some of you dont put a good enough opinion
so is it worth it?
I thought it was worth all my 270 NT
That's 8.75 dollars for you American folks.
Anyway, I thought the acting was pretty good, nice special effects(except for the stretching), and Dr. Doom was badass, which just made it all that much cooler.
I actually remember watching the cartoon, and it was actually quite fun to sit down and watch. So who knows…
I saw this movie last night and liked it. At first I saw it on Saturday, but the fire alarm went off during the middle of it and The Loews I saw it in closed down, so me and my bro asked an employee and they told us to hold on to the ticket stub and we can reuse it. We went last night and Loews honored our ticket stub and a coupon for a small soft drink.
Johnny Storm was funny, glad to see when he did "FLAME ON" he was an actual burning man with flames, good effects. when he did that trick to the Thing when he was asleep my whole theater was clapping. Also glad to see The Thing "Real" instead of an Incredible Hulk fashion. Invisible Girl outline was neccesary so we can see where she was. The Streaching of Mr. Fantastic, eh it was okay, technology hasn't advanced yet, so I don't blame them. I read on IMDB that the ending of the movie was rewritten because of the way the Incredibles ended their movie, guess they thought people would think they stole it from Incredibles.
technology to render realistic skin and make it look anywhere near real is available and it is out there. I've seen numerous demos of it at last years Siggraph convention. Why those not to put their full effort into it is beyond me.
this is in reference to your Mr. Fantastic stretch not looking real.
Yeah, the stretching was hella fake, but the movie rocked. Doom kicked ass and the Thing made my day.
