After checking the One Piece Strong World movie guide, I saw that practically every One Piece movie right now has been released in blu-ray. Just out of curiosity, has anyone released subs to these movies in blu-ray quality?

I would really love to watch each and every One Piece movie in blu-ray quality, so if anyone has any info of such then I would really like it if it were shared here. I can just imagine how awesome movies 4 to 7 would look in blu-ray quality.

Just out of interest, why would you want RAWS of the Blu-Ray online? From what I know of online rips, the sound and picture quality would be dramatically decreased, so you'd have a Rip that has the frame size of a BR but the quality and sound of a DVD. Kind of defeats the point of 'HD'.

But then again, most DVD RAWs online are ripped so the audio/video is lower in bitrate than a VCD so what can I really say about the matter?

Wish I could order these myself since i'd love to see movie 6 in HD (Always loved the art style of the director so in HD, it would great) but considering the UK taxs you on items over £18, it would end up being really expensive.

Not really, unless you're talking about a poorly done bd-rip. That's kinda like saying a tv-ripped HD file of One Piece has the same quality of a SD one.

There has to be someone who has managed to get a hold of these movies and at least made some kind of subs on them. Or at least…someone should request for a sub team to do this. Who doesn't want to see the One Piece movies in HD?

Sorry for the stupid random question but do the Japanese DVD and Blu-Ray releases have English subtitles? 😊

I've heard that some of them can but they are very rare!

I'd love to see the movies (especially Strong World) in HD but the file would be HUGE!!

Maybe someone will be brave enough to take up the challenge of subbing them one day soon

As far as i know they dont have subtitles. Some sites say its Region Free and some say its Region A.

Would love to own them all on blu ray but there £30 a movie. and it would work out cheaper waiting for FUNimation to get ahold of them. Unless the japanese disks have any extras

if they rip them correctly and don't compress shit for size reason then it shoudl be the same. the data on a blu ray disk is just that, DATA. so as long as you keep that data intact and the same it will give you the same sound/picture quality as reading off a blu ray would. just most times they don't because then you get into 5+ gig sized files for a single movie.

True…I have downloaded many blu ray quality movies, and most of them take over 5gigs of space. Luckily, I have a ton of hard disk space, so I have enough to keep every one I want. Still...let's keep this thread going...until we get the BD rips or whatever. I really want to see the movies in blu ray quality.

…So, is there anyone on this forum who actually own the BluRays and can confirm whether they're region-free or not? I know CDJapan says they are, but I'd rather not spend 70 bucks on a movie only to learn that CDJapan got it wrong and that I'm stuck with a movie I can't watch.

So that is prob why cdjapan may say that.

Well, that doesn't really mean anything whatsoever to me considering how I live in Europe…

Best thing to do is e-mail em, or look for a site that will list the region/s.

Quick trip to Google says region A.
