@Greg:
And by 'scares me' I don't mean it keeps me up at night, rather it indicates a series.
…again...
And a series of these things is only fun if they finish them. Otherwise you waste hours just to get their half-assed ending.
I usually don't give a crap about stories in RPGs, and I hardly give a crap if it's a series; if the gameplay is to my liking, the story can be about Beethoven living in a dream reality he wants to turn to a reality, and I wouldn't give 2 fucks about it.
Furthermore, how do you know it's gonna be a series? When the game was called Monado, did you give a damn about the game during it's early reveal or the title?
Then on the other hand, you wait for years to see whether they'll complete the series or not and when they do, you've got like 4-6 40+ hour RPGs to complete laying on the table whilst Metal Gear Soliquifis 6 is coming out with God of Modern-War 2 and Final Fantasy 7-3.
I already have a ton of stuff piled up for me to read, watch and/or play, and that pile ain't getting any smaller ^o^
This wouldn't have bothered me when I was 15 but now that I'm almost 27 and finding my time in front of the tv trying because it takes me away from my wife, these predicaments become frustrating. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal.
Understandable mate, I know you've got your reasons, but from what I can see it's just YOUR reasons. On the bright side, just appreciate you've got a wonderful wife and the whole video game thing won't be a big issue.
…unless video games are like toast to you...:ninja:
It's no fun when random encounters take 7 minutes and end up with you dying.
Your strategy was weak, no offense.
