i think he didnt rly care from the beginning..he never faced luffy or wanted to test his "abilitys"..he was just aware that this guy did a lot of mess to the WG. now seeing luffys potential dofla knows that he could be fun in the future and that is exactly what hes searching for..he wants to have some fun in the end, cause right now he has a damn good life i think..but still he needs action thats why he wants that new era!

You know guys, sea stone is probably rare so they can't afford to produce it en masse for all the 100,000 soldiers present:/ Besides it was cool as hell seeing Luffy and Ace just stand there taking those attacks.
Also all this talk on Whitebeard getting a flashback is going to make me disappointed if we don't get it.

Ok seriously, we will probably see why Whitebeard became a pirate and I think he completed his dream already. Then Whitebeard will show why he was called the strongest man in the world and pwn some marines, and then he will have an epic death scene (at least I hope so, cause an offscreen death for Whitebeard would be a major letdown)

Whilke I can't see seastone bullets being produced en masse, I can see them producing a a few revolver caliber bullets for officers. They could be reused after being fired because they are probably too strong to deform or shatter.

The question has already been answered and it was established that it doesn't show Akainu making any reference to the traitor himself. The panels simply are placed next to each other but other than that they can just aswell be totally unrelated.

Upon reading this chapter, I found it kind of stupid how the Marines were all, ''he's a fire Logia!'' and then proceeded to shoot him. Obviously that isn't going to work…
I wonder how the logistics of everyone getting away on the boat will work. Everyone's gonna be on it? As in, the Whitebeard Pirates, their allies, and the Jailbreak Gang? Things are going to be very cramped on board. Are they going to tow Oars Jr. behind them or something? Have they thawed out one-armed Joz yet? Has Crocodile given up on killing Whitebeard since calling him weak and join them too? Interesting to see how all this works out. But Whitebeard's goin' down... Wounded all over and Sengoku and the Admirals are still fine. Wonder if he completely destroys Marineford, or conks out as soon as everyone else is away.
Either way, that farmer isn't going to be very happy with this.

Wasn't that a translation mistake back then? I thought someone explained that those "Gaol Bullets" where not seastone bullets but rather net bullets like these things here and here. Other than that I agree with the Marine incompetence.

People keep bringing this up, why? Do people really think that the crew will disrespect Whitebeard's wishes like that and start going in their own directions? After all this, even without Whitebeard these guys have proven they are comrades, it wouldn't make sense for them to split apart at the loss of their leader.

The guards at Impel Down had Gaol Bullets. We can assume they're made of Sea Stone.
But I don't think the Marines can supply enough sea stone for all the Marines on the battlefield.
