Anything that is Microsoft exclusive is instantly fail in my book, no matter how awesome it looks and may be.
Ohohohohoho, look at me, I intended to buy a 360 but got a PS3 instead when it price dropped, and now I'm SUCH a fanboy. No, in actuality I just hate exclusives. I can't say I hate PS3 exclusives cause I CAN play them, but I actually disapprove of the whole exclusive thing. I think all consoles (that can support the game at least, lookin' at you Wii) should share the same library. It's not nice to split audiences up for great games.

I don't think so. Exclusivity allows each console to establish and distinguish itself and offer some new variety and experiences in terms of games so that it doesn't boil down into a redundant pissing contest of who has a prettier logo on their magic box.
The SNES and Genesis is a good example of this. Disregarding first-party related games (ie: Sonic, Mario, anything related) I'm sure people here can still distinguish games like X-Men 2, and Castlevania: Bloodlines, as well as Super Castlevania IV, and Legend of the Mystical Ninja. And lets not forget how exclusivity game gave us the Goddamn Resident Evil Gamecube remake. Just to name a few examples.
I'd say theres really isn't anything to go off of between the 360 and PS3 other than the occasional HAHA MY FRAMERATE IS BETTER THAN YOUR FRAMERATE FAIL piss off that I mentioned before
(Although I won't argue with anyone saying the future is gonna break that trend or its already been broken in '09).
And at least the Wii has its own handful of unique titles, lack of HD punch not withstanding.
Oh yeah, as for the MICROSOFT X CAPCOM, The banner does say "TITLE PRIMERE" so I'm willing to reassure RuNa that its gonna be a new IP all together.

I wouldn't really go that far Nintendo for example ( but not to a high degree) managed to put out quality titles long before Sega became a legitimate threat to them with the Genesis.

I'm just saying there's always this battle between gamers (which I'm involved in unfortunately) over who's better. Yes, this triggers more effort but I wonder what a generation solely concentrated on a single target in today's world would bring.

That would be the boss: A pop-up window, called "Window," with a creepy face in the center who floats around summoning pop-up windows that swoop by and try to hit you. Its super would involve it moving to the center of the screen, shouting "Would you like to REGISTEEEEEEEER!?" as it spews a bunch of windows from itself that cover the screen, making the windows error noise for every window it shoots out.
I'd buy that game.

Well, that's kind of lame. I'm still getting MH3 for the Wii since a few of my friends will be getting it as well, but I was hoping for some other Capcom 360 sort-of exclusive. I mean, even though MH is big in Japan, the 360 is nearly dead.

I personally don't see a problem with that; I spent hours just to upgrade 2/3 of my equipments in Demon's Souls and it has helped me in my recent short plays.
I've never played Monster Hunter mind you, but if I want that armor and I gotta go through hours of getting, then so be it. Or heck I might just say fuck it and go with what I got.

I do disagree with the 360 being nearly dead. Haven't you heard of the great games coming out on the 360 this year? Both multi and exclusive? Project Natal? Come on

BTW I love the game. It just takes a LOT OF TIME for very little reward.
