That opening is amazing.
I hope Archer actually keeps the Stache and its not just a one-off gag.
Though it does bring him even closer to Bobs Burgers… again.
new season is pleasing me, the best part was when archer was fighting that biker gang and the whole group though it was an elaborite voicemail hoax.
after watching episode 3 it seems we are sitting with an overall plot for the season about the sextape. who else but barry can be behind it?

Either him or Kreiger because we all know that Kreiger will do shit like that

Woodhouse, obviously.
what did you think of the season and the finale.
! i find it hard to believe archer is dead because the writers forshaddowed a season 8. but overal i enjoyed the season.
Or for cripes sake. Use spoiler tags! Especially on something big like that!
! Obviously he's not dead. With all the robots running around they're free and clear. Especially since, why would real Archer go in first?
! But f they don't get renewed and that's the series finale, that's kind of okay too.
They've renewed 3 extra seasons; http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/archer-renewed-by-fx-through-season-10-1201800428/
anyone watching this season, first two episode were a bit so-so, but i realy liked the third one
based on the trailer it seemed that archers come had helped get the other people get their shit togheter and become functioning people. But that did not take long to go back to usual
Oh man, the thread bump on this after three years meant the first post I saw was "they've been renewed for three seasons."
But that was three seasons ago. Sigh.
Does that mean the final season has started then?
Does that mean the final season has started then?
Eh, who even knows.
They've finally brought Archer out of his coma and returned to the spy stuff, but now I think Adam Reed isn't working on the show as much as he used to. But no, I haven't heard anything about this being the final season.
TBF, I thought the first 2 episodes were really funny even if the premise is long played out. I guess good cast chemistry goes a long way.
I think it was renewed for a 11th (this) and a 12th, but I'm not so sure where or when I read that. And with less input from Adam Reed, i don't know if the show can keep going much longer. Does this also mean no Ray this season?
I haven't really been invested since it started format surfing.
I'd probably watch it, but i don't have my hopes up
And had more genuine laughs this first three episodes than I had in the las three seasons. Adam Reed probably had a burnout with the series. I don't know if this is a breath of fresh air for the franchise or not, I just don't want it to overstay it's welcome.
IMO this season was better than the previous three. Guess Adam was really burn out by his series.
It has been renewed for another season.
This season was a banger.
! I wasn't ready for that.
Are they gonna keep going without Mallory now that Jessica Walter has passed on? Or are they hanging it up after this latest season?

It's been renewed for a 13th season, so we'll have at least one Mallory-less season. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they decided to hang up their hat after that.

They wrote her out in the last episode of the season as best they could given the circumstances. They'll be continuing without her.
I feel like the show needs to wrap up soon regardless though. They're just sort of going through the motions and repeating themselves now.
For all that the three dreamland seasons didn't add anything to the ongoign story or character growth, they were refreshing changes of pace. So was the Vice season.
It just feels like they've run the gammut on what they can do with the spy stuff with these characters.
Well considering
! Lana and Robert looking like they're going to have a rough time continuing and he's the one in charge of their company this does feel like the kind of thing they can speed-jump into concluding in a favorable way for ol' Sterling. I just wish these last couple of seasons were at least 10 episodes instead of 8.
Welp, looks like the show's finally ending. Though for a lot of people I'm sure the series ended several seasons ago.
Still haven't seen S13, so I guess I will binge both of them.
The first one after coma was IMO the best since S6-S7ish.
Well, I guess that was the final episode of Archer, though it didn't really feel like it.
Apparently there's going to some announcement about Archer at Comic Con this Friday. A movie? TV special? Spin-off series? Guess we'll see.
Watched S13 yesterday, very solid season. I lost at the "touché" "I think it's pronounced Pinochet" line.
Now lets see if I can find the time to watch S14 this weekend.
Archer's getting a finale movie event December 17.
Makes sense why the series finale didn't really feel... finale-ish.
S14 was good but yeah the finale didn't feel like final.
Yeah, that's about what I expected. Although technically I think it's supposed to be a three-part episode.
The series might still nail the landing with its actual finale, but all in all I really feel like it lost all its momentum with the 3 dreamland seasons, and never quite recovered when it got back from that and tried to pick up where it left off. The Dreamland stuff was fun enough, seeing those personalities in different scenarios worked well, much like them being a touring country group selling drugs in one of the earlier seasons... and I understand the creatives needed to refresh their batteries. But maybe it would have been better off if they'd actually finished the story, and THEN does elseworlds stuff for however long they wanted. I dunno.
It was just such a weird decision to put Archer in a coma and have that dangling over the audience's heads for three seasons.
