Anyone who likes Ippo will probably like this, though the feel is darker since it's about street fighting. There's more psychology to it, the author likes to give a lot of details on how a street fight actually goes. I imagine he had seen his share of street fights in his lifetime or at least knew someone who did. There are points in the manga where the main character actually gave me chills because of how scary he was. It won't replace One Piece or anything, but you guys should definitely check it out.
