One Piece Theme Park!!!

The Laguna Gamori marine resort complex has announced on Monday that it will host a "One Piece Memorial Log in Lagunasia" theme park attraction from March 20 to June 27. While there have been theme park exhibits based on the One Piece anime franchise before, Laguna Gamori promotes the new project as Japan's first attraction to follow and recreate the journey of Luffy and his gang.
The complex is located in Gamori City in the central Japanese prefecture of Aichi, and it already held a "Mighty Atom Exhibition in Lagunasia" event from September to November of last year. That earlier event featured a statue of Tezuka's Astro Boy (Mighty Atom) character which stood over three meters (10 feet) tall. Reported from Anime News Network.

im still wondering what this will be…. a museum or a collection of rides personally i think it might be like a setup display of the crew's escapades and memorable moments.

Actually I think after Merry 'died', they retired that version of the museum and did a Sunny one.

I would like to ask for a little help about this theme park. I will stay in Japan from 24 March to 10 April so I MUST go to this event one of those days . But I don't understand very well the system for buying tickets which is descripted in the link I pasted before (my japanese is very poor). I see that the text says something about those Lawson's "loppi machines", but I would like to know if Lawson is the only sales point, or if it's only a way to get those 3 exclusives pins. I think it would be easier for me to just buy tickets in the front of the theme park.

Any help from anyone who can understand japanese better than me it would be very much appreciatted. By the way, if there is anyone who has stayed in this theme park before, I would like to know if is it worth buying the "passport" (event entrance + rest of the atractions), 'cause I only care about this One Piece event. Thanks in advance…

Maybe it'll be like some of those movie-based rides at Universal Studios where you "ride" through the story, that's kinda what it sounds like.

Actually, the event was interesting and funny, but more oriented for kids and families. The memorial log exhibition was far from complete, so I would say it's only a "must go" if you have the chance to be in Japan and you are a "hardcore" One Piece" fan.

Actually, what I enjoyed more than this event was to be able to watch Strong World. I found a cinema in Shibuya still showing it (Cool!) Now, I just came back and I see that finally there is a cam-rip. But it's not the same experience of a big screen, of course….

Did you snag any of the POP Blue Chopperman figures ? I have been trying to find one since the event opened or someone who lives near the park. As of now , I have found none.

I didn't see any of those blue Choppermans in the "Otakara Shop", sorry (exclusive cookies were the main goods there). The truth is I wasn't planning to buy it, so I didn't try to ask or look for it harder.
