Good post, and yeah Oda pays attention to everything. Truly, a masterful and yet unpredictable storyteller.
I think that now that Hancock beaten a lot of pacifistas, some of the admirals will have to be bothered with them.
Those guyz seem unstoppable.
hey the visuals are back on the shabondy monitors,i assume.
How the Hell did Inazuma heal from Magellan's poison so quickly. I thought it was suppossed 2take 3-days but so far every1's healed from it in like 3-hours.

Also remember that the 3-days was applied solely to Luffy who had suffered from multiple poisons.
Crabby was hit with only one, the hydra,
What possible advantage would there be for a barefisted man to attack Blackbeard with haki? […] Questioning why Ace having haki or not would matter at all when talking about his defeat to Blackbeard.
Well, if Margaret's arrows are any indicator, it would give his bare fists more huzzah. Oh, and the comment about Luffy working Bacura back into the 80's…
Someone tell Oda how nucking futs the American OP fanbase is, so he can watch how he words things. Sheezuss…
I could be wrong, and someone is welcome to call me out on this, but I am pretty sure the Japanese OP fanbase is just as bad, if not sometimes worse.
I don't really foresee Garp and Luffy exchanging fists for too long, if at all. Garp most likely will be emotionally compromised, or someone else will fight him, taking his attention away for a few moments. So in my opinion it's a fair bet that Boa will interfere with one of these two "battle/match ups", in the upcoming chapters. Luffy using his haki again doesn't seem too likely. Generally it looks like this arc is slowly heading towards it's end.
I still want to know who let Luffy and Co. in! :/

Whitebeard's a pretty weird guy himself.
Iva- chan is kicking some major ass . i knew inazuma would be back and give luffy the chance he needed. nice to see vista overly muscled swordsman doing something useful that marco keeps failing to do.

wow Mr1 risking his life for saving Luffy who would ever expect that.
you know i hope the kings haki won't be the only powerful type of haki out there. i hope there is at least one more that will rival it. something like a conquerer's haki or a destroyers haki. won't be fun unless there are people out there that can dominate people with kings haki. hopefully somebody like blackbeard would have that and some of the other emperors. would be cool if zoro ended up with destroyers haki.

I like how Mr. 1 is talking like operation Utopia is still in effect. "Orders" he says almost as if him and Croc discussed some type of plan on their way to the war.
LOL @ onemanga scanlation. Even title of the chapter is wrong. And problem with translation of text with Shanks and WB possessing Haoushoku remains unresolved :/
Anyways, love NW captains covering Luffy! And Croc is even more badass than I thought O_o
We're tying in "Haki" to chromosomes now?! Good fucking lord…!

I don't think the majority of this forum is American, but i could be wrong.
Would be interesting to know tho.

I think the majority of the registered users are American but the majority of the visitor traffic is foreign.
My best guess, anyway.
Anyway yeah, the translations are a bit all over the place.
Off topic…
At the end of this chapter, I was amazed but not surprised as to what happened...
And for what it's worth, a small part of me hopes that Garp will go down easily... But I know it won't happen.
It would be comical if Garp went down from Luffy using a kick to the groin.
The person that let Luffy and co in is…....
....dumdumdum Dragon

This is rich. The "translator" just copied mangastream's translation but switched the wording around, I guess to mask the fact that he doesn't speak any japanese.
Case in point: in croc's dialogue, croc says he is in a bad mood by using an expression that mentions a bug (according to Aohige).. mangastream turned this into "or you get stepped on like a bug" but in the scan OM put up, they left out the bug reference completely..
Terrible cleaning too, spelling mistakes and the title is missing a word.. and this one will stay on OM forever..

I said it before about OM. Some scantalation teams don't like them for w/e reason. OM doesn't reach out or try to patch things up and they take manga chaps from new or half ass scan teams and this is the result.
I didn't bother to check when I initially saw OM post it up. Mangastream may not be perfect with the chaps they get but it's usually better than what Franky House produces. I have no idea where Vizard scantalation came from with this crap.
EDIT
"Fearsome powers he got inside"
LMAO I'm done. It's one thing to feign knowledge of the japanese language when you pretend you translated something but to even lack the basics of English grammar and spelling?
Cnet's translation is up: http://mangahelpers.com/t/cnet128/releases/18949
I'm still waiting on that rain to start coming down. XD

Haou is sovereign, the conqueror one. It's opposite usually Kyuseishu (救世主), messiah, wait, that will be Buggy's haki. Kyuseishushoku no haki… long and hard to pronounce without biting your tongue.
I wonder who the next bad guy is. Meaning I wonder who Luffy will fight next(in terms of a few episode long fight, not a short 2 to 5 minute fight).
Any ideas?

Im starting to think that Luffy won't be fighting any major enemies in this arc. First off time is at a premium, he can't waste it fighting such strong guys when he needs to save ace asap. Also, it seems that every time he is confronted by an enemy somebody else jumps in (Mr. 1 and Croc righting Mihawk). Maybe he will after or if he saves but until then I don't think so. But to finally answer your question I think he might fight Ajoki next (I think he's the weakest of the 3 admirals).
EDIT- I guess I should state why I think he will fight Ajoki. Maybe when Luffy is trying to make his getaway with Ace (if he does save him), Ajoki uses his power to catch up with him at sea seeing as he is about the only DF user I have seen that doesn't have to worry about swimming.

I did kind of figure that, I noticed(like you said) every time he's about to fight someone, an ally jumps in and fights the bad guy instead. Maybe he'll fight Garp for a little, but probably not. I guess we'll figure out next week.
(Ajoki) I can agree.
To all those that were saying it was stupid for my to add sciences to this, I was simply showing one guy how this would work if you had to get the "gen" from the mother. One guy simply named that it could be that way so I decided to show how it would work that way.
Sorry for offending some of you, but I know better then believing sciences in One Piece.
I myself simply think that it involves with your final real life goal….Whitebeard ended with just being a pops wanting to protect people and make another Pirate King... not a good material for King's Haki ?
Luffy becoming Pirate King... sure why not... Dragon to rule the world fairly... sure why not... Garp to become the ultimate justice fighter ? sure why not..... Oh yea dream plus power and age.

Wow, thanks for bringing that up!I totally forgot about the giraffe guy in that panel. To me,this last Giraffe guy looks more like an underling, since his hat have a white border and a different shape, compared with the one shown previously(Most likely the captain, since he´s giving orders to the pirates). Interesting to see this guy with a spear, instead of the usual sword.
I found some more of the underlings/ pirates/ fodder:
!
LOL, trying to find some of the NW captains/ division Commanders is one thing, but now I´m even looking for the underlings/fodder pirates. Damn, I must be out of my mind:blink:

Wouldn't be the first time Luffy did that. Oda did sorta set him up for a good kick in the pants.
i love this kind of stuff, always nice to see it. good job!
edit: WTF, is that a mouse at the bottom left of the pic?
well you have to think of it… even if luffy gets pass grap songoku and the admirals how is he going to get passd all the others, with whitebeard going down soon, and still get off the island...
this is was to much haha.. is nerve recking hahaha:)
what do you guys thinkis going to happen after this chapter???

Dang. Oda put a lot of thought into all the different characters designs didn't he? I wonder how much thought he puts into the characters and the battles in the war outside of what is shown on the pages.
I'm hoping the next Data book has all the info on all of Whitebeard's crew plus all the New World pirates. That would be a good read.
The mouse! there is a mouse! zomg, what chapter is this?

I think you´re talking about this creature. That´s not a mouse. It´s a…thing on a pirate´s shoulder.

I thought the chapter was really good, though I think Oda is kind of bordering theme betrayal with this whole "I knew he was born with it" business. Especially since Garp of all people said it. I hope the guy's aware of that. I REALLY like the way this post puts it, though:
Unless BB is on to something with this whole fate thing, in which case it's not theme betrayal but instead has been in the story for awhile in atleast some form. This chapter once again reaffirmed this theme of potential established with Sengoku's comment about Ace that you and Zephos tried disproving. Either way I thought of that little debate while reading this chapter. Although I really can't say which direction Oda is taking this with anything near 100% certainty.
Some sort of Fox, it seems.
indeed °_°!!! not a mouse
even if luffy gets pass grap songoku and the admirals
Jesus, you just raised the hurdle to the max.
Son Goku from DB?
well you have to think of it… even if luffy gets pass grap songoku
Getting past Goku? What are you, high xD?
Getting past Goku? What are you, high xD?
Did you miss that golden cloud behind Sengoku a couple chaps back?
WTF Son Goku is a F****** :ninja: I didn't even now he was there (lol)
So finally WB called luffy by his known title/name "Straw Hat Luffy" not the usual "brat" "kid" etc… or he already did in the past chaps I tend to forget a thing or two.
Luffy's just gotta stop Goku before he can use the Spirit Bomb.
@S.C.:
Some sort of Fox, it seems.
But is it alive?
(I still like the monkey better)
I personally don't like the translation of one of WB's men stating, "Luffy's got it like Pops and Shanks…" If that was the case, shouldn't WB have used it already in this battle? I wonder if that was the correct translation, because I want a good explanation if that's the case.
isn't it sort of double edge weapon? WB's men were also fainting when luffy used it. But WB did stab with haki

It is the correct translation. It does mention both Redhair and Whitebeard.
Mangastream translator simply missed that entire half of the line.
