Nothing makes sense on Heroes anymore, that's a given. Characters are introduced and discarded for no reason, their personalities change every week, plot points are often forgotten, etc.
I mean, season 2 was boring, yeah, but it wasn't THIS messed up. They really lost it somewhere along the way. It's a shame, considering the potential this series once had.
I'll keep following it, even if it's very hard to be impressed or surprised by any event at this point.

In a lighter note, Bryan Fuller (Pushing Dasies creator and a former Heroes writer) might be returning to the staff. He wrote some of the best episodes from season 1, including my personal favorite Company Man.

I think this series truly went wrong when there became a main cast of like 30 people. When it was the first series, with only like 9 or 10 heroes, it was fine, but now it just seems like they introduce someone and then never fucking show them again.

Dude i had NO idea what daphne's problem was. I half expected her to be a freakin alien. Then it turns out to be something so simple and stupid. It just blew my mind away. AND THANK JESUS FINALLY,Sylar is back to his odl head choppin self. Too bad Elle had to die though. HRG fucked up bad and Claires gonna turn out evil now, i just know it. Peter should have beaten Nathan with a rock when he told him his plan because it was dumb as all hell. And the Hatain continues to be badass. End of episode.

so…Claire took away her powers, Hiro took the light, Authur took the light, Hiro got trapped in the past, Sylar starts killing people again but this time with a humorous side, Sylar kills Aurthur, The forumula is perfected, and we see Hiro's real mother for the first time. All in one episode. HOT DAMN

There has been so much criticism of this series lately. To be honest I think expectations are just too high for most fans. They expect everything to be perfect but that is unreasonable. Heroes in my opinion has never been better. It started off perhaps a bit shaky but finally we get an arc that makes sense. Every character introduced this season has been enjoyable. Sure there are plot holes but every series has that. We finally get more villians besides Sylar and I actually quite enjoyed Arthur. I thought he was a fresh infusion of a manipulative super power although I think the events of last nights episode were perhaps a bit too quick.

I also like the fact that they are reverting a number of characters to back how they used to be. Sylar being the evil killer, HRG being how he used to be. Etc.

There are a few plotlines I'd ditch such as Mohinder. Sometimes yes the characters make stupid decisions. Thats to be expected. You can't expect the writters to allow characters to make the best possible decisions all the time. Sometimes people are just more gullible then others. Mohinder is the major victim of this.

Eh perhaps I'm just tired of seeing all the complaints about the series. Its honestly much better then many of the trash shows in the same time slot.

Pretty good episode overall. Still wasn't Heroes season 1 but they did a nice job of wrapping up several of the clusterfucks they created this season. I can't believe Nathan got so bitter! Should be interesting.

Overall I'm satisfied with how things turned out this volume. They managed to get rid of all the things that plagued both Volume 2 and Volume 3 (formula nonsense, company nonsense, Maya) and I'm glad that things seem to be moving back towards how they were in Volume 1 moving into Volume 4. Interviews said we'd see less crazy "zomg formulas, catylysts, companies alga;bva!" next volume which is good, show needs a break from that for a while me finks.

Go Heroes, first show (at least of the ones I'm familiar with) that's made their fictional president Black. Was waiting to see who'd be first to do so.

The next volume sounds like fun, and with all the Micah visuals this episode maybe he and Monica will come back? Mainly Monica, she needs to be back in the show, srsly.

Ando's new power is gonna be fun.

This Mondays episode was good, but it wasn't as great as last weeks episode (well, except w/ the part w/ Hiro's storyline, that was interesting). But anyway, I believe volume 4 would be awesome, it's a lot more like the X-MEN now, which come to think of it, is what all super powered TV shows mainly got the whole storyline from, since X-MEN is after all the first thing about super powered guys mixed w/ discrimination and such things

I don't know if it has been said, but how the hell did daphne get back to the present time? I mean of course she could get back in time by outrunning light, but that doesn't work the other way. I mean to go forward in time requires that you are slower than standing still.

Loved the episode, glad to have it going back to normal. The sneak preview looks good, I feel like it's gonna pick up a lot next season (at least more than this one)

Looks very similar to an X-Men Mutant Registration Act/Sentinels type of story line. Definately has potential to be good. Then again, the whole series has always had great potential, but bad writting over the last two seasons (though I'm willing to give them benifit of doubt on season 2) has killed it.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with you. Too much bullshit clutters Hereos, if they could get rid of it all they would get the Emmy every year.

Well Season Four Started last night. Quite enjoyable if a bit cliche. Basically the whole X-men being hunted by the government thing. Some pretty cool moments but what I did enjoy the most was seeing that the heroes had been trying to go back to their normal lives ie: Peter as a paramedic, etc. I look forward to this season being good.

No more company stupidity, no more virus nonsense, characters actually living everyday lives and not just being players in the company bull crap, NO MORE TIME TRAVEL (for now…....-_-) means maybe this volume will get back on track.

If they bring back the awesomeness that is Monica then I'll be 100% back on board, as of now based on the start of Volume 4 I'd say I'm at 80 maybe 85% AND with the government collecting all the people with abilities there's no reason she and Micah can't make, at the very least, cameos.

I'm willing to forgive the lack of motivation and sense in turning Nathan into the badguy (maybe it had to do with his pointless fanatical Christianity that disappeared after 5 episodes) if this volume turns out to be really good.

Also, while it hasn't happened yet in volume 4, the writers really need to stop killing characters they can't find use for, or don't have a direction for. That seems to be their primary reason for killing off a lot of interesting minor and supporting characters.

Ando learned to use the fracking Kamehameha, awesome.

Got rid of a character I hated (speedy bitch), Strauss was killed off (I was actually really liking her and her Aokiji power). (strauss was my favorite of the 3 identical bitches so far)

So I'm starting to see having elemental powers in the world of Heroes as a huge downside if that element can hurt and apparently kill you with your own attacks. I kinda wish they were immune to their own element at least so the elemental powers could have a lot more potential for awesome.

It doesnt make any damn sense that she killed herself with her power when Claires mom survived heat so extreme it cut off breathing with no difficulty. But plot holes aside, can someone get me that ando kamehameha as a avatar!? Also i liked daphne and i'm sad she's dead.

Im pretty bummed that daphne died. I liked the pairing of Parkman and her. I've been seeing in the heroes forum at nbc saying that Traceys death is the fake death and we have one more real death to go for this season. But this episode was pretty decent avoiding certain plotholes and stuff.

Tracy isn't dead. Bryan Fuller said himself that she didn't. So I assume her death was the one which was the 'fake out' (We were told there'd be 3 deaths this season, 1 fake out and the other 2 real.) and since Daphne's also dead that means there's one death left. I'm putting my money on one of the Petrelli brothers (Moreso Nathan).

Tracey sure as hell isn't dead, her ice sculpture blinked afterward. Also, Rebel's reveal was worse than the 4th being Naruto's dad. Everybody knew already.

But this episode was cool. Sad to see Daphne go, though.

I agree great episode. It's like the whole season was going so fast, running, escaping ect. yet also seeming to gain no ground either. This one was nice and slow and character development, and learning. Plus awesome sylar. I loved the peter talking to jesus too that was great.

but a very sad episode too, cause i'm guessing no sylar for quite a while. most likely due to when he went off to film star trek. also claire looked funny this episode too, just saw a commercial with her in it and realized what it was. she cut her hair so she had bangs/vangs (whatever spelling).

and gay preview, didn't really get me excited at all. I have no idea what next episode is gonna be about.

Sylar got mindfucked by micah. Micah is the only true hero left. But what is with the whole power rangers turbo thing going on with him? Last time he was taller and his voice was noticibly deeper. Ahem, I SAID discuss. Anyway season finale was tonight. Kudo's on the people who predicted Tracy becoming hydrowoman. I cannot believe Matt, Angelia, HRG, and Peter(Ok i can believe peter) were stupid enough to really decide to NOT kill Sylar. If he takes over the world In THIS future too it'll be entirely their fault. Fucking dumbassass. Highlight of the night was Sylar finally breaching the sexual tention between claire and him. I mean DAMN it's been so thick I can't believe it's not butter. And the thought of Claire trying desperate to kill Sylar untill the end of time intrigudes me. And i guess Nathan/Peter Vs. Sylar was Ok. The only real action we've seen all season aside from Ando having fun with his new ability. They should have went the other way thou, Peter from low and Nathan high, it would have worked better. (Lil joke there =P) No my real concern is why Claire stood outside. I do not understand it at all and wish for someone to explain it. She cannot be killed so what prevents her from jumping into the battle? I mean even if all she did was run in and get blasted out the door again at least we couldnt say she didnt try.

I loved it when he talked about how similar they are, both being adopted and both being able to live forever and that she could waste the next 100 years trying to kill him and that she might come to forgive him and even love him.

but this does seem like a nice storyline, especially with the clock at the end.

i couldn't remember, all i recall was matt, noah and angela. and about giving nathan blood forgot about that noah thing. but whatever, heroes has to be the hugest loop hole shoe ever. there are so many inconsistencies in the show, but i just enjoy it.

should be a good volume 5, volume 4 in a whole sucked, only good episodes were the last two

i know it isn't actually true but i felt Volume 4 was mainly about Sylar, i mean i know there were many other storylines, Rebel, Matts baby, Hiro and Ando etc but i don't know it just seemed to be based on Sylar.

Anyway i am going to hate the wait for volume 5 my guess is it won't be out until around 22-25th september.

Giving Nathan Sylar's blood may not have had the same effect as Claire's would, seeing as regeneration isn't his main ability, merely one he absorbed. As for why they didn't use Claire's blood, that's something I've been trying to figure out myself. My guess is that Claire would need to find out why they want to use her blood, and if she did, she'd try to kill Sylar and get herself killed, as Sylar would know her weak point but she wouldn't know his.

Still, if Nathan had survived, the fans' outcry would be less "Why didn't they bring him back from the dead?" and more "WTF! They brought him back from the dead! Can any major character actually die in this show?" The writers kind of wrote themselves into a corner with the whole 'healing blood' thing. All in all, though, volume 4 was definitely better than volume 3 was, and probably better than volume 2 as well (given that the Peter plot in volume 2 was powered by his own stupidity, unwillingness to use his wide array of powers, and amnesia, and Sylar's plotline didn't really effect the others), but not quite as good as volume 1. (I just got season 1 on DVD last Christmas, and I was almost caught up by the time volume 4 started)
