Been rolling a lot of Debussy and Sibelius the past couple of days. This performance is a pretty cool read of La Mer and it was one of the highlights.

I'm really happy you liked the sound of it. I kind of posted it here to see whether it would get an reaction out of you, and the fact that it's positive makes me glad that I did.
They definitely have a lot of musical talent, though. The precision and the creativity they have in almost all of their songs is something that separates the group from the rest of the metallic mass. And it makes it really fun to listen to. Folk metal is a funny genre. They even sing in Swedish, most of the time, so listening makes for good exercise. :P

I love it when ON Trax Volumes get released. It takes all the tracks since the last one that didn't get put in albums and compiles them into an album of their own.

I love Afuriranpo, it's just a shame the broke up :( Definitely one of the coolest bands going in Japan.
but I've been listening to a lot of Zazen Boys especially since their new album just came out
also a kinda proggy band is Yura Yura Teikoku, especially their later albums.
