Oh, yeah. How could I forget about Sanji? His sexism towards both genders gets really annoying at times. I hope some day that Oda has him fight a woman and NOT run away, like he did with Califa. Not that that's ever gonna happen, though…

It's more chivalry than sexism … that's the point, he can't help it. He doesn't fight pretty girls becase
that's the way he was raised, those were morales instilled into him growing up. He can't help it.Infact, it's actually even (as you saw with Califa) and intentional weakness to Sanji.

Like it matters at all how he was raised. 99% of the time I couldn't care less about the way he acts.
Yet in that 1%, he put himself before the rest of the crew. Personal beliefs are fine and all, but not when they're at the expense of other people.

Most of the time Sanji is seen favoring the women during the comic situations like things that have to do with food rationing, but at the bare bone, Sanji is a stand up guy who is truly one for the WHOLE crew…I mean, wasn't this apparent in the whole Kuma ordeal and on the many times where he saves Usopp? Even the Luffy vs. Usopp argument had Sanji springing into action when some harsh words were exchanged to try and keep the crew intact in this time of strife. If you guys think that Sanji is all for himself, read the manga again.

I did not want him to fight Kalifa at all… so, yes, my dreams came true.

In that one particular instance, Sanji put personal beliefs above the crew. Heck he didn't even have to fight. He just had to get the key somehow. Instead he ended up incapacitated and luckily, was handed a miracle when Chopper knocked down that tub. The situation could have easily went the other way.
This why I pick Sanji. Nobody has to agree.

Exactly. How do we know this wasn't part of his plan? He was trying to retrieve the key without hurting her, (and get a little sexy-time on the side!) She said the key was on her body…would it be easy to fight with her or to get into her pants? (Definately the latter.) Accompanied with that women are his weakness, it's apparant that his initial motives would be not to strong-arm...rather, strong-LEG her. When it was time to fight, he defended against Kalifa for as along as possible, trying to find an opening to the key...and I'm not 100% positive, but I'm pretty sure that when Sanji realized that it was futile to play "mr. nice guy" he decided to attack, but Kalifa dodged with Soru, sudzed him up, and it was all downhill from there.
