Not only that but while he was off being a marine, he first left Luffy in Fushia Village until age 7 and after Shanks left. THEN he takes Luffy to where Ace is and has Dadan act like a foster mom to Luffy as well. That means Luffy did not have one before! Makino seems to be just a friends of the family but not Luffy's caretaker.
Ace, I understand the anger he got for being provoked by akainu's taunt but I think that was really selfish of him to ignore pop's order and disregard the fact that everyone busted their asses to save him just so he could do something dumb and die. Should of thought of his brother more than mere words. SO HE GETS PUNCHED IN THE FACE… WITH HAKI... IN HEAVEN?!?
Some fans has drawn a comic of dying Ace asking Luffy why didn't he duck. I want to know why Ace didn't tackle Luffy and roll out of the way. There is no way he can protect Luffy if he's dead.

Sanji: Sometimes his love cook mode gets very annoying. I also get annoyed how tends to act as though he owns Nami. Like in Thriller Bark with the whole wedding thing. I get that it was supposed to be funny, but his attempt to save her seem to be more because Absolom saw her naked and was trying to take her away from him. Not because she was in danger.

Out of all the Strawhats, its Sanji that annoys me the most his attitude that he has to protect Robin and Nami even in heat of an arguement or battle. That's how he gets hit by both Luffy and Jinbe by forgeting that Robin can take care of himself…that scene alone is a good enough reason for Jinbe to join...hopefully it'll happen again.Worse is when Sanji does his so-called prince charming act in heat of battle, as he did on Fishman Island. Nami was doing fine on her own (despite originally acting cowardly, running and hiding in the tank that Usopp was trying to use to fight), only problem is when the big guy Wadamusi or something fell and causes a shockwave that knocked her down. She was fine, but Sanji started screaming at the big guy.
One enemy finally saw this tendancy as a weakness and decided to use it against Sanji by attacking Nami. This is a case where Sanji's attitude is a danger to the girls.Yeah, it's obivous that I'd punch Sanji.

Ace because he fell for Akainu's taunting and thus wasted everyone's efforts.
A good portion of the Whitebeard pirates for just yelling for him to keep running instead of actually helping when he needed it most (seriously, they were just standing there).
Whitebeard for not KOing most of the opposition with his haki. Luffy was able to do it, so he should too.
