It's called Agarest: Generations here and its already out. I was gonna make a topic about it yesterday.
Anywho. It's an OK game, if you like Disgaea 3 and have completed it then go for this. If not then go for that first. The plot is wafer thin at the beginning (so much so that it really does feel like forced random battles with no direction)
Atm not too impressed with the choice of girls. I suppose if you find Perona attractive then you'll love this game.
JP version's out then? Well the translation for it seems fine, and I don't like Perona much 
I assume the Jap version is out. But this its the UK one I have. (Basically translated with Japanese voices.)

Woah. Just saw the video. It is REALLY playing up the sex/porn in this game isn't it (I don't think its even THAT bad. It's been rated a 12+ in the UK age rating.)
Let me just say to people that I've played into it about hmmm 5-6 hours or so and thus far there's none of that. There IS a love system and so far I have a choice between a flat chested elf or a flat chested blond. Both look roughly between 14-16 >.<
Also to note, as far as my ears are aware, Nami, Robin and Chopper's VAs are all in this game….I think....XD

Dont worry. Acording to the opening credits in the game it does seem that larger boobs come along later (I already have one but it doesnt look like she's an option.)
Another note of awesomeness is that whomever you marry will have a child with the stats of the parents. Which is why its called Generations. You have a child, your son has a child, his son has a child etc etc etc.
But yeah. Like I said. Thus far its a Tactical RPG (although it does seem confusing at first. Not helped by some confusing tutorials at the beginning of the game) but once you get into it its a very good game.
Just don't expect it to be boobs and hentai all the way through XD
Finished Generation 1. Choices were pretty bad for this gen. I eventually went with the pretty strong spear user. no ecchi yet (apart from what we obviously see during regular speaking scenes.) and the 'sex' is hilarious at best.

My hero uses knuckles now and it doesn't look like he has many useful combine attacks ATM >_>; Hopefully my 3rd gen. character ends up with a Sword or Spear, heck a knife wouldn't be too bad either.
However he does have high Strength and Vitality, so that's a bonus.

! Ellis, Vira, Zerva are still on my team those 3 were among my strongest characters solely due to their Magic =3
I never used Winfield when I got spear girl, but it's good that his stats are up to par with the rest of my crew. That red haired dude may replace Leo from Gen 1 so all's well

lol I started the second gen and then pretty much put it down. It IS a good game but having this, Valkyrie and Disgaea 3 is way too much.
Amusingly its actually at the bottom of the pile of 'games to complete' XD
So the North American release for their game is going to be DOWNLOAD ONLY for the PS3, but the 360 will be getting a retail disc. So, instead of paying $60 for a game disc I'll have on my shelve to pull out when I want to I instead will spend $60 on a 10gb download, and too bad if anything were to befall my account. What. The. Hell? I hate them doing this with games, I can understand on other titles like original ones or PSone titles, but to give one console a disc release and another strictly a download? I'd say it sounds like they're too cheap to mess with blu-ray, but they did Japan and Europe.

! had 9999 HP, recovered around 1800 HP each turn @_@ I used the baiting strategy by having him kill Zerva and then I raped his ass whenever I got EX skills ^o^
Seriously, download to own is lame LAME. If I knew it wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg to import, I'd get a copy from Europe.
Hmm Amazon.com has a copy but for $60.
I recommend waiting up on the game; see if with time you can find an EU copy for a good price or some such.

I think I'm almost done with the 2nd gen.; I now have to choose between-
a) High Offense and Defense but weapon is knuckles/fists
b) Low offense and defense, high speed and magic, but equipment is knives/Swords (THIS DOES NOT COMPUTE!)
Also fuck the Earth Knights.
Hate to bump such an old thread but has anyone played Agarest: Generations Zero? Amazon had the Collector's Edition up for cheap and couldn't pass it by. It's about as good as the first one. Rather enjoying it.
