Stop slacking off.
-
my new years resolution is to kick all of your asses
Except Malintek, he gets off by way of arbitrary decision because he is the post above me.
Everybody else meet me behind the gym after lunch and line up in single file
You're fucked

NAME THE TIME!
:w00t:You're going down, son…
I don't think I'll be able to accomplish my resolution. I just finished watching Baccano for the first time. I've decided that my resolution is to find a way to bring Claire Stanfield into existence and marry him. I don't think it's going to work out since I don't think he likes guys.
-
I will find a new job this year. If I don't I could be screwed.
-
I will go back to school this year!
-
I swore to live life to the fullest.
Now, that's pretty cliche and vague but I have something in mind. I don't want to waste any day by doing just nothing. At least a third of 2010 was wasted that way. If I don't have the opportunity to go out and do something I will at least try to do something productive at home like practicing guitar/piano, working out or study (you know: broaden my horizon in any way possible). I just wanna be able to look back and think: "I really made the best out of the time that was given to me".
-
I swore to live life to the fullest.
And then destroys it by posting on a forum.
Go climb Everest already.
-
I don't consider this forum a waste of time since it's entertaining and sometimes educating. Besides, it doesn't take that much time to read/post a few things.

1. Be more strict when it comes to my grades at college. I getting tired of getting just C's and hardly getting B's most of the time. #1 resolution for 2011: getting at least 2 A's in each session.
2. Start going to the gym. I just fell that just working out at home is not enough.
-
Save money so I can go to Switzerland.
-
1. Find physical/emotional companionship at college before graduating in six months.
2. Get into the JET program or a graduate school so that I'm not a bum sleeping on my mother's couch at this time next year. Well, that's more of a wish; not really a resolution if I can't affect the outcome at this point.
-
1. Consistently go to classes and keep up with schoolwork.
2. Set a certain amount of money aside each month.
3. Pick up karate.
4. Make more friends.
5. Eat less crap. -
1.Do things to increase my self-esteem/confidence. Cooking, teaching kids Tae Kwon Do, volunteer work. Anything really. <-This was my #1 goal last year, too. While I can't say I accomplished it, I'm much better off than I was at this time last year.
2.Become a black belt. <-I'm already at red belt, so this is definitely doable.
3.Get my driver's license. <-I've been putting this off for waaay too long.
4.Learn how to speak Russian or Japanese. -
I think it's time to dig this thread up again.
Sooooooooo, my dear users, have you fulfilled your resolutions?

I forgot whether I made one…
but I have one this year concerning my art and what not
Think it was something like 53 pics in a year? idk...
but this one for next year is something like a picture a week and try new things in drawing.
I wanna improve after all :) -
Save money for my secret goal.
What are you all doing over there in Sweden?
Are you building another alexander skarsgard out of pure gold and prepubescent tears?
Anyways, as for myself:
-start running/jogging so I can tone up a little bit and lose the extra weight I gained this year
-go on more dates and overall TRY a little more when it comes to women. this year was by far my worst year getting ass since high school.
-
To get excellent grades on my SAT in order to go to college!
-
-
-
Same as usual:
1. To think of a New Years resolution for next year.
Mission motherfucking accomplished.
Next year's resolution:
1. To think of a New Years resolution for next year.
-
Get help when I need it and stop thinking I'm weak for wanting it.
School. School. Focus on school.
Stop hating everything and being jealous.
Save up to move to another state. I have officially decided to leave Georgia.
Cut down on coffee.
Buy a queen sized bed.
Get a decent haircut.
-
I … uhm ... ah!
I want to make more Hattori campaigns.
-
My resolution is the same every year continue being a hardcore nerd
-
I guess I should add more to my resolution?
Naaaaaaaaah…
cutting down on the amount of tea I drink is preposterous!
I WILL LOSE MY DAPPERNESS @ A @
NEVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!But I reckon I should add some obligatory 'Do well at college' thing...
yeah.
There we goooo. -
-
Well, I got the weight loss thing down.
Next year I'm going to try asking out at least seven women.**Note: Not all at once, and if the first one works out, then screw doing six more.
-
My resolution shall be to actually try at "life". "Life" being my education, work, general social life and anything else I find that I want to improve along the way.
-
To get halfway decent in math.
-
get better
get better points
to not die
-
I resolve to practice saying good day to strangers in the street when appropriate.
I resolve to Get at least a mark of 9.0 on my next concert examination.
-
I might as well start trying to get an Associate's in animation.
Of course, I mean just to start schooling. I have too much free time anyway not to try it. -
Striving to get better at explaining myself.
-
I finished this one quite early. Hurrah
This year
-Get a tablet and practice with poster art and work on a new coloring style.
-Buy a ton of paper and ink and draw until it's all done. Poster arts, pinup art and comics.
-Get a job to support my hobbies.
-Try a different hairstyle rather than my current afro.Other things that seem impossible with my current lifestyle is starting my own art clique, learning to drive and getting a car, and finish reading atleast 15 books.
-I didn't get it yet… but I have been practicing. That's good!
-F***. Not a single poster art done. But I got everything else done
-I didn't get a job till this month and there;s no way in hell it's supporting my hobby... To much hours. To little time for me, myself and I. Good thing it's temp.
-YES!! And it looks rather good too.And yeah... all those impossible things were impossible indeed. Congrats past-Hiroy. I've made you proud.
Now to get working on a new one... when New Years arrive.

Sooooooooo, my dear users, have you fulfilled your resolutions?
@CCC:
1. Find physical/emotional companionship at college before graduating in six months.
2. Get into the JET program or a graduate school so that I'm not a bum sleeping on my mother's couch at this time next year. Well, that's more of a wish; not really a resolution if I can't affect the outcome at this point.
1. Yup. It was awesome.
2. Accomplished (JET).Since I'm on a roll, I guess I might as well set some high expectations this year too.
1. Find physical/emotional companionship in Japan, which will probably involve asking out one of my colleagues (a frightening proposition in light of the strict sekuhara policies in the workplace).
2. Save up at least $15,000.
3. Learn the names of all 330 of my students.
4. Start working out again. -
-workout, harder now that my dad's Boflex 3000 is not in the house. this video was pretty inspiring though about workarounds.
…Ignore the philosophical man sitting on the couch who thinks he's God's gift to man. anyway, i should try to figure out ways to work out without gym equipment, because memberships are too expensive for me at the moment.
-keep up to date on SWTOR, I don't want to miss my chance to be at the top in an MMO. It's something I've never accomplished, and I want to pounce on this chance.
-devise cheap meals that are healthy as well, and eat them 5 days of the week. fast food each week should be no more than $5, if any.
-eat the food pyramid more.
-work on signature. i have so much stuff that i want to see that it's overwhelming. i've been making good progress but it just never feels like it's enough.
-attempt a new sleep schedule called SPAMAYL. very hard stuff, been attempting it for 3 months now. the main problem is the alarm...
-get promoted to server/find alternate money source that is not a job, while still working. -
- Get swole
- Quit bitchin as much
- Write at least 10 chapters of TB
- Get paid for at least 1 article
- Improve the fuck out of Smash Con
- Become a better player at 64 Smash
- Move into an apartment either alone or with someone
- Get started on clearing my debt
- Get a job or make money some way
- Work towards not being such a lazy asshole
-
Become even more able to stand up for myself at work–made amazing progress this year, but need to step up my game even more, without letting it overwhelm my nice side. The trick is not allowing the bitter folk to make me change my behavior as long as I'm good with it, but to recognize sooner when I am trying too hard, as well. It's just a truism that being polite doesn't always involve being "nice," nor should it. Get over it already and learn to say "no" without feeling the need to justify it. Argh!
-
To become a stronger man both physically and mentally.
-
Actually do my work and try to manage at least a 3.0 in school.
Get into honor classes next year.
Start to lose some weight or at least eat healthier.
Try for a job(most likely a summer job). -
- Become more motivated at college
- Find a significant other (pffft)
- Come out to my family (HAHA)
- Become a more motivated writer
Only one of these four is likely to happen~
-
-Apply for an apprenticeship program
-Cut down on junk foodI'm not too sure about that last one.
-

Just start out slowly by making healthier choices over the junk food and you sure slowly adapt to it, sooner or later.
-
- To complete 3 of my 4 current work projects before April
- To keep on losing weight
- To be healtier
- To end my social recluse "hermit of the coffee fields" rutine and go out, with a girl, whom I don't see as "Just friends", and she hasn't frienzoned me to hell
- This is the year that I've decided to make some big fat future decisions, to study, to move, to work, to stay
- To restore my rental room to it's inocent original state
- To not have a motivational breakdown after october
- To be the best professional that I can be
- To go to some places that I've never been before
- To rise up to the face of challenges that I don't see coming
- If there's a chance to move into a better place, to seize it!
- If there's a chance to know someone interesting, to seize it!
- To leave nothing to chance, to create my own opportunities
-
1. Find a new job.
2. Save up at least 10,000 €.
3. Work out even more and get completely ripped.Bring it on, 2012. I'm ready.
-
I've got to find more time to show my appreciating for all the cool things my mates irl and ap have done for me.
If i haven't sent a festive greeting to anyone here just know i've been a bit tied up and forgetful.
-
Since I got myself a gym card this christmas, and because my graduation is coming up this summer, I'm gonna focus on losing some weight.
Quite alot of weight in fact. I honestly don't know how much I weigh, but I could stand to lose a heck of alot of pounds. -
Sales of gym membership goes through the roof during new years.
It seems to be on everyone's list. -
-Be a nicer person
-Work harder in school (my last year of high school, let me end with aDONbang)
-Hopefully get a job at some pointThat's it. I think.
