I'm surprised at how much the animation has improved since the beginning in 1999. The opening theme is awesome and so is the ending.
I can't wait for Kaizoku to get to Water 7.

It'll probably be a year and a half or more before KF reaches water7.. thank god for gerusama! (and ep 234 is coming out today, yay)

Cool, the episode was strange.
It was not like the real One Piece, more like the moviesโฆ o.O -
What episode are you talking about?

Not to be rude, but you know that Geru-Sama subbed Skypiea through Water Seven.
-
To my knowledge, Gerusama started subbing at the end of Davy Backโฆ Not Skypiea. The only Skypiea subs you'll find are the HK ones.

I don't think I want to watch HK Skypiea, or any of HK after all the bad things I've heard about them.
But maybe I'll give Gerusama a try one day.
I'm just used to using KF that's all.
-
You guys are both wrong
Gerusama started subbing at the filler arc AFTER the Davy Back Fight, and then on to Water 7. He did not sub Skypiea or the Davy Back Fight.
Edit: I just noticed GoAnderson said "at the end of the DBF". Yeah, that's actually true, because he did sub 219 first, but it was soft-sub only and he pulled that on off the site.
-
Well, He did do softsubs for the DBF, just not official encoded subs.
-
I'm pretty sure the only episode he soft-subbed for DBF was the very last episode of it. Did he do more that I didn't know about?
-
Okay, I'll use Gerusama after I download and watch KF episode 151 since 151 is going to own on so many levels.
-
Not sure really, I know he definitely didn't softsub the entire arc. Though I think he may of done the Captains fight episodes (217-219), before canning the softsubs.
Mmm! might have to get him in here to clear things up.
-
I don't understand what you mean by softsubs. Are they subtitles that aren't completely accurate?

Soft subs means you get a seperate .srt (or whatever) file with the subtitles.
I wonder why he is so secretive about his softsubs btw.. it's almost like he's embarassed about em.
-
Yeah, the softsubs were a file that you attach to the raw japanese rather than having the subtitles embedded into the episode.

He's not embarrassed about them. He explained this on the forum before - the reason why he stopped doing softsubs is because people were stealing the files. The very first episode that he did was at the end of the DBF, and felt he probably should just start off at the beginning of an arc rather than the end. Also, because it was the first try, he wasn't as pleased with the results as he would have liked. I hope he doesn't mind me answering for him(them), that's just what I remember from the last time this came up.
