Just a quick question:
I've watched the Anime up to episode to the Thriller Bark arc, and since the Openings became about 2.30 Minutes long there is always a short Clip retellingt the legend of Gold Roger and the One Piece.
Now I watched one of the newer episode on youtube and there was a New clip telling the Story of Ruffy and his pirates instead!
Since when episode do they use this clip or why do they use them at all?
They changed the clip at episode 396 I believe, and the reason is obvious?
You really want to sit through that dull monotonic Roger flashback every episode? Even for new fans, it's pretty much explains nothing about the current story. The new intro clip at least introduces the main cast, the overall story, and Roger being Pirate King as well.
Is the new one better? Yep. Is it needed? Not really.

Nah, I just wondered that they changed it! But yeah - it's a change to the better! Still as you said - it isn't needed at all!
