The official website's also been updated with a lot of videos, including ultimate moves for Luffy, Zoro, Ivankov, and Ace, and a lengthier video of in-game footage, which shows more moves for Luffy, Kizaru, and Kuma.

Neat, there's a stage based in the East Blue. About that cover art, it's kinda funny that all the other Straw Hats plus Vivi have their arm crossed but then so does Wapol and he looks like he's trying to shove himself into their group shot.

Mini-Rant Alert!!!! Dammit, they gave "Three-Thousand Worlds" as Zoro's ultimate again. What's with game developers making this one particular move Zoro's strongest attack in almost every game. Zoro came up with more impressive attacks by the end of each arc and they keep using the one move that got him punk'd against Mihawk… And where's my Ashura?!

If it is true however I'm cancelling mine. No point wasting money on a game that lets you play as Ivankov over the main chars in the series.

No game would leave the straw hats unplayable. Robin and Franky were in ultimate stars, and doesn't this share an engine and developer? It would be insane for Hancock to be playable over the Straw hats.

Yeah they're shared. Which is all the more reason why I'm so annoyed they aren't shown in char select screen (Although it's also missing WB and Ace so.)

Yes, it'd be very stupid if Robin, Franky, and Brook weren't playable. But look at the evidence, people. They probably aren't. Stupid things happen.
And yes, there are some playables missing from the select screen (Akainu, Whitebeard, Ace, and Mihawk at least) but if they were playable this would be the best place to finally show it.

Why do you all say that robin and those arent playable?.. Unless it says they arent then i dont belive it.. It dont show WB,Ace and that lava guy and some more there and they was confirmed playable… Its not like all character is on that picthure so i dont get the idea why you all say that they arent in the game.. It would be weird if they release all character there o.o.. If it say they arent playable then okay but if it dont, then i dont get why people are saying they arent in this game at this time o.o

The reason why they are saying that is that we now realized that there are NO PICTURES of a Robin, Franky, or Brook playable character and they only list them with the support characters (of which none of the characters on that picture are playable either). The game comes out in exactly one month and they have shown those basic characters as playable but we have characters like Magellan as playable characters.
Hm….I dunno....
It's not 100%, though. Didn't we see support images of characters like Luffy, Hancock, and Jinbei?
Still, It's not looking great. Maybe it's retribution for Usopp and Chopper who weren't playable in JUS.

It's awesome having Chopper and all. And I'll probably main him and use Robin as support instead. Just a shame that Robin was in the last two games and not in.

We don't know how the boxes change when new characters are unlocked. There are only 2 ? blocks while there are more than 2 playable characters that we didn't see.

The only thing I can maybe think of is that since it's playing through the story it could be possible that Robin, Franky and Brook are unlocked during the arcs (Enies Lobby, Thriller Bark etc.)

I think they're just unlockable. You know, they give you the original SHs first, then let you unlock the others later.

I don't mind if they are unlockable. But I don't want to buy a game and find out that the char I want to play as isn't in at all. Especially one that should be in. No questions asked.

It would seem kind of random, though, to have members of the Straw Hats as unlockable characters when they'd generally be starting character material in other One Piece games (seeing as, after all, they are part of the main cast).
Anyways, it looks like there will be 25 characters going by the select screen, which leaves seven playable characters who haven't been seen (if Whitebeard, Ace, Akainu, and Mihawk are added in). Shanks, Aokiji, and Blackbeard seem likely, but who else?
