But no. That video was in the Japanese version of the game. I doubt those chars will be playable. Just supports.
And if they are in over Robin, Franky and Brook somebody will probably die.

The roster is:
Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Sanji, Chopper, Usopp, Akainu, AOkiji, Kizaru, Whitebeard, Blackbeard, Mihawks, Hancock, Ace, Jinbe, Ivankov, Magellan and Croc (I think that's all of them.)
That's right. Robin, Franky, Brook, Smoker, Bon Kurei, Eneru, Lucci and all your favourites aren't playable in this game.
you forgot Kuma and buggy as there 20 playables overall.
I'm very suprised i really didn't expect this to be released outside of japan. I'm quite glad i chose not to import it now
I doubt there'd be an new characters cause then they'd have to release and updated version of it in japan as well and the only company that seems to do stuff like that is capcom. It's possible and i'd like it to happen but i the chances seem slim

With Unlimited Cruise 2 they added every character from Unlimited CXruise 1 plus like 15ish new characters.

Oh well, now I'm hoping Unlimited Cruise SP gets released as well. But in America too, apparent Region locks and all that.

Besides, We(europeans)´ve only been lucky since they brought Unlimited Cruise. We didn´t get Unlimited Adventure, and all the previous PSX/PS2 were either unreleased or impossible to find

We got the exact same game released twice just with a terrible adventure mode tacked on the second time around, a horrible edited down party game, a decent GBA game, and Unlimited Cruise the prequel. You'd be better off importing Grand Battle Rush from Japan anyway.

Europe got a few OP games such as Grand Battle PS1, Round The Land, Grand Battle PS2, Grand Adventure. I never had problems finding them.

the gba game was a sidescrolling platform game that went through the east blue arc. you only played as luffy but had zoro (sorry 'zolo'), nami, usopp and sanji as support.
It was alright but i got stuck at arlong park and stopped playing -
4kids dubbed grand adventure as well. It was on Ps2. I've only seen a trailer for it though. It looked alright. Would've bought it if not for the bad dub (and my lack of money)
Grand Adventure is a fairly good game. Though the fact that the voices (other than Zeff, who was funny) were from 4Kids actors (sanji's voice sounded like he had a concrete brick on his face instead of a nose).
-Wapol, Kuina, Ohm, Zeff, Tashigi, Vivi and Ace as new characters
-Foxy and Aokiji sadly missing…
-Heaps of stages, some with alternative lighting and effects (ie. The Sexy Foxy was there, just Brogy instead of Big Pan..., and the alternative was a section of mast in a horrible storm... lots of fun)
-3 Levels of cancel power (lvl 1 movement cancel. lvl 2 movement cancel and speedup/dash stun properties. lvl 3 all of the above plus a massive knock away and unblockable normal attacks for a while)
-Customizable characters, which can be used in Vs mode
-about 50 support characters, some of which like Pell and Chaka, and others like child zoro are new
Any character can use any support character you've unlocked
-Long and rather challenging adventure mode across 5 difficulties
-And Karue racing... though not exicting, it's rather fun
And nothing beats seeing Crocodile summon a waver and ride on it, while facing Tashigi with Tashigi support... classic stuff
-You can even swing a crate/barrel as well for a really nifty stun
Just the voices suck...

The best thing about that was that Support Tashgi had a different character model than playable tashgi ^^

Grand Adventure was really good. But it wasn't fluid as Grand Battle Rush, just compare the gomu gomu no storm from gb rush and the laggy "gum gum storm" from ga.

yeah, GA was great, other than the bad voices. i liked all support. it is hard playing that, then going back to rush with Luffy only having 1 support. i also like how you can combat the secrets with the rock, paper, scissors thing too.

I've never looked in t his thread before because I don't have a DS, but someone is trying to convince me to get one to play Pokemon. I probably wasn't going to but if there's a One Piece game coming out in the UK I'd be more tempted.

It's worth knowing that's its a fighting game with summons. It's also worth knowing that the roster is really really REALLY pants. Robin, Franky and Brook aren't in. Nor is Bon-Chan, Smoker, Lucci, Eneru, Moriah and others.

well, on the plus side, we still get 1 new game, project jet is 2 games, IIRC. too bad it will be for the 3ds, if they continue to do handhelds.

but on the bright side to that if their gonna release the first one in europe they'll probably release the second one so region-locking isn't a bother… Unless you live outside of europe in which case i feel for you

which i do. as much as i like one piece, i'm not spending an additional $400+ just for one game. hopefully, by the time it comes out, the 3ds will be hacked by then or said game will be region free. plus, i'd wait for the pal version, which typically comes out a year later after the jpn version.i can live without playing sp, since i have already played both already. bonus characters are nice, but since they will be more than likely in vs. mode, its not that big of a deal, since i would just be playing the cpu in a water-downed version of grand battle.

What images? The one you unlock? Considering UC was completely in Japanese and there are bits where they just talk with no text it'll be the same.

if i remember right you have to beat one of the zoro modes with 15 characters. I can't remember which one though. The other one though get's you gaimon so it's all good

just beat it with everyone. IIRC you get the likes of Tashigi and Coby and Helmepoo too. Bonney I think was another.

it's like arcade mode in all the other fighting games. i think one you do alone and the other you get supports with you. can't remember the third (if there was one)
