It's pretty unfair to lump em all together. The first one was an excellent thriller. It had great actors, a fresh story, and was suspensful til the end. While the sequals were just torture porn.
Ever hear the story about The Giant Claw?
If you haven't, it was a science fiction film made back in 1957 about a giant bird that threatens the world with it's giant birdish ways. Now, the special effects were done well after the sequences with the actors were filmed so the people onscreen had no idea what the creature in question looked like. So during the film, there were a lot of sequences where an actor resorted to describing the Giant Claw as "a bird as big as a battleship." You probably hear that exact phrase said a dozen times or more in the time and almost always with the same delivery to boot regardless of which actor says it.
So the premiere of the film rolls around and one screening is held in the hometown of star Jeff Morrow. Again, none of the actors knew what the creature looks like up until it actually appears onscreen.

After the initial audience reaction to the Claw, Morrow snuck out the back to avoid being recognized. We can only assume that Jeff did a facepalm first.

The first Saw was really good. It didn't need a sequel and in my opinion they ruined it with them. Hostel was basically porn for the first 2/3 of the movie (I watched it with my parents too 
) and would have been better had they focused more on the stuff that was advertised. As it is though it sucked pretty badly.
Yeah while the departed may have been pretty boring, it wasnt facepalm worthy.

Dude Transformers 2 owns The DeFarted, all the epic battles and shit, it was way better than all the stupid talking in the DeFarted, man Shia should win an oscar, but everyone knows the oscars are rigged… the only way to get one is to die nowdays...

Now, I'm sure everyone here's aware that I am a major fan of HP Lovecraft. So I was walking through Blockbuster looking for From Dusk Till Dawn but they didn't have it. I saw this movie and went and started watching it. There's no resemblance to the story at all. I watched the first 20 minutes or so of it and all that was happening was people being chased and some other segments and the movie was switching between black and white. It's the only movie that I'm aware of that I haven't watched all the way through, probably the worst movie I've ever watched. Makes it worse that it has the title of a Lovecraft story.
So I hear there's going to be an Erectorset movie.
I won't complain.
Not one peep.

And just like Zoolander it had me desperatley pining to a member of the King of Queens cast who made the movie more bearable by simply being there .
The movie itself felt like seven hours of random out takes that were shoved because of their sheer lack of humour but some dumb ass put em together anyway and made a whole separate movie out of it .
And the actual out takes , my god that is unfunny .

Yes a thousand times. The movie was already bad but throw in an "famous" attention slut and it makes the scene where she dies the single best part.
I actually enjoyed GI Joe, it was pretty cheesy and had some pretty bad scenes but it was at least better than that garbage of a Transformers movie series.
G.I Joe was at least good for a couple laughs (at how cheesy it was). I don't think it took itself quite as seriously.
Transformers however was just cringe-worthy the whole time.

Honestly, 'Precious' had a lot of potential and could have been a classic like 'The Color Purple' but the film was just a mess. I thought the acting was mediocre, the music was even worse and the author constantly tried to one-up himself by making worse things happen to the main character as the film went on and I think it was executed poorly.
