Recently I held a private anime con by my house, where I met Eiichiro Oda, and he told me a few interesting facts about One Piece and himself.
1. Eiichiro Oda is just his alias. His real name is Toja Kageyama.
2. Zoro's name was originally intended to be Zolo, but thanks to translation errors, it always ends up as Zoro or Zorro or even Solo.
3. He's always had this thing for laserdiscs, and he hopes to revive the format one day.
