I was just wondering if anybody around here knows where you can buy One Piece DVD-boxes on the internet.
I already have 16 total but the site I used is apparently out of order (or out of business, see meganimedvd) and I would like to complete my serie :)
So if anyone can help me with this, I 'm just trying to support the series ;)

What do you mean by uncut? Compared to the Japanese tv version? I'm not aware of any cuts they do.

It is. The German version of it aired a few days ago and they actually showed Sanji getting stabbed by a knife.
I guess that is what he means with 'uncut version of 359'.
Huh, so looks like that edit was a last-minute alteration due to that stabbing spree a week or two prior after all. Guess it's good to finally get that one cleared up.

Since the New Episodes switched Channel (from RTL2 to Tele5) the cencorship isn't as hard as it was before! Blood is shown again (more than ever before in the german Version) but "extrem" Fightscenes are edited down so children think that even a some Kicks by Sanji can make his oponent spit Blood on mass, not like on RTL2 when even the smallest drop of blood is edited out so that children would think that they can do it to and nothing is going to happen and it doen't even hurt!

Holy crap! Is this the first time Toei's done this? With the Knife censorship I mean. I didn't know this kind of thing happened in One Piece.
As for the DVD thing, the Japanese DVDs don't come in Boxed sets, as said before it's a Singles-only release, and each single is EXPENSIVE!
If you can, I'd recommend getting the FUNi DVDs as they come out. they include the Japanese uncut version, and if you're after Raw DVDs, you can shut off the subtitles.
I don't say this to plug FUNi or anything, just… getting the FUNi DVDs is a LOT Cheaper than going after the, literally hundreds of OP Singles for 3500-4500 yen ($35-45 a Piece)
For the price of one 3 Episode Toei single, you can get one 13 episode FUNi Boxed set.
But if you have the money and insist on breaking the bank on the Toei singles, then Amazon.co.jp, CDJapan.com, and Play-asia.com all sell them.

no idea what you think you saw , but there is NO dutch version , the only one piece related items over here is the manga , the 2 wii games and the french 13 ep. boxsets with japanese/french audio and optional dutch subtitles…

I typed "ONE PIECE 359 UNCUT" and the Dutch one appears in the first page (Not sure how Dutch sounds, but it could be the subs).
And it looks like I saw the first part uncut, and the 2nd part which was not Uncut by another uploader. Hence the confusion.

i thought they were still doing dvd rips, or i mean now blu ray rips. i just assumed since they always did dvd rips that when they switched to hd, that meant now that they were buying one piece on blu ray cause it was. or is there no one piece blu ray

You know, it just dawned on me.
The person who made this thread was asking for "Japanese Boxed Sets", mentioned having "The first 16", and I just found a listing online for "One Piece Parts 1-16 (eps 1-274) BUNDLE". That listing is for bootleg sets.
I think this poor soul got wrestled into buying a bunch of Bootlegs.

This accident was on the 8th of June 2008, and 359 aired in Japan on the 22th of June 2008.
That's the recap of the last ep where that cut originally was, of course it'd get carried over.
