I'm not downloading it since I own it, but I'm curious…do you use a watermark Al!na? Obviously not in the middle of the colorspreads, but somewhere on a corner or something?

It's amazing to see my favourite colorspread in such good quality and bright colors, and there's also a couple of awesome pictures I've never seen before~ __ I'm looking forward to seeing the p. 16-17 spread too, since it's one of my favourites as well. Now I only have to decide which one to use first for my desktop background! :3

Nope. No watermarks. Only 8 Mugiwara posters I posted here before have site links on them, but they are tiny and stylish, you can erase them any time anyway if you want to print.

The thing is - there is so much merging and editing work with the scans I can always tell it's my scan if it will be stolen anyway, without any watermarks.

Very nice work, Al!na. All the colors look crisp and the glow effect you used was a nice touch. It's infinitely better than the crummy scan I did of CW3 a few years ago…I didn't know how to clean pages back then and I resized them all too small. I've gotten good at it now, though I don't think I could have done much of a better job than you. If you want to compare, here's something I spent about an hour scanning and cleaning earlier today:

That's about how well I'll clean Color Walk 5 when I get it. Unless you have a suggestion for a better way to do it?

What's a good place to get the colorwalks. Though military, my town is notoriously shitty about stocking good manga artbooks (they stock bleach and naruto. i rest my case)

Really? It looked like you used some different kind of effect or blur up until about page 32. It must just be my eyes. I have terrible editor's eyes. :blink:

Try to call up a Kinokuniya. They generally stock all the Color Walks, and prices aren't too bad. But Color Walk 4 is more expensive than the other 3.

Plus I believe they ship. Kinokuniya is the best store in America. Hands down.
