      Okay, I've got an iPhone 3G on Pay as you go. And I wanted to know how to upgrade to 3GS.
      I've heard I'll have to basically just but the 3GS as a separate purchase, and then put my 3G Sim into it for all my stuff.

      Anyone on here have any advice ?
      Do they do trade ins ?

      Should I sell my 3G & Use the cash to buy the 3GS. Because It's really gonna be a waste to buy the 3GS Seperately and then
      have a £300-something iPhone 3G lying about the house not being used. Can anyone who's been in the situation give me advice on what to do ?

        Trade it in. Or sell it to some website that buy old phones for cash.

          Your in the UK, so I have no clue about your phone carrier packages, etc, etc.

          All I know is it depends on your carrier. I live in Canada and we have some of the most expensive cell phone packages in the world. (effing stupid)

          I know when I was purchasing my 3GS, they weren't allowing 3G users to upgrade to the 3GS… unless they purchased the phone by itself for 600 smackers. (Canadian prices) However, since the 3GS has been out for a while they offer "upgrade" rates where you're able to bring your 3G in, get a discount and buy the 3GS at a discounted price. (Similar to EBgames/GameStop)
