There hasn't been an official topic about this series, only various comments about how good it is.
For those of you who don't watch Adult Swim, or don't have cable (you poor souls), the basic plotline is this (copied from the Wiki article about the series since I'm lazy):
An elementary school boy on rollerblades dubbed Li'l Slugger (Shōnen Bat) is said to be responsible for a series of mysterious hit-and-run assaults in Tokyo. The circumstances are always the same: none of the victims can recall the boy's face and only two distinct details are left in their memories - golden rollerblades and the weapon, a golden baseball bat bent like a dog's leg.
Two police detectives, Keīchi Ikari and Mitsuhiro Maniwa, are assigned to the case to track down the perpetrator and put an end to his violent and random spree. What at first may seem like a typical act of juvenile delinquency soon turns out to bear the signature of an unclear evil.
I love this series, even though I am watching it through the dubbed version which is playing episode 6 right now. Each episode is more distrubing than the last (and I hear that episodes 8 and 10 are the most disturbing ones.)
My favorite episode so far is Episode 5 where Ikari and Maniwa (which are my favorite characters) go through a RPG world as they interogate a middle schooler dressed like Lil Slugger.
EDIT: I was trying to find some decent stuff from the series to use as an avatar, but Google has not been very helpful. Also, I was in Suncoast a few weeks ago and they already have the soundtrack AND the last two DVDs on sale.
