**ADV Films announced that they have a license to release the original Macross TV series in North America and will, for the first time ever, produce an English dub for Macross.

They also announced that Evangelion will be airing in its entirety on Cartoon Network for the first time.

So am finaly going to whats the fuss is allbout Eva, It most likey going to be on Adult Swim since I wouldnt think this would be on Toonami.

Evangelion actually aired on Toonami during "Giant Robot Week," so who knows if it will still go to Toonami. It's better off on Adult Swim though.

It did say 'airing in its entirety' So it'll probably be on adult swim. I think one day they should just put a unedited, undubbed anime on adult swim. That would make my day…

I remember that Giant Robo week or what ever.

Ep. 2 suffered the most. Pen Pen was removed entirely, and Misato was given a swimsuit, IN THE BATHTUB.

Hopefully, it' going to go on Adult Swim. I would kill myself if they edited Evangelion to go on Toonami.

I'm not complaining. I have the entire series on DVD, but if it really is being shown on Cartoon Network, I can just watch it to compare it. Seriously, out of all the giant robot animes they own, ADV just had to give Cartoon Network Evangelion and Nadesico.

Hell, they should have just gave Gravion or the Samurai X / Rurouni Kenshin OVA instead. I think Eva will go on Adult Swim though. It's to psychological and deals with religious themes so thats a definate Toonami No-No.

Well I'm psyched about it. I've been wanting to finish the series. I only got up to volume 6 or 7.

I have good news eva is going to be on adult swim.
