Does anyone else read this? This girl told me to read this last night and it is hilarious. I think if you guys have some time you should check it out.

From the same guy who did Claymore. read it first and it's hilarious and awesome. the best part was seeing the mangaka progress exponentially in art and story-telling right in front of your eyes.
-
Wow I didn't notice it was the claymore author but as soon as I read this I got to a chapter where they introduced a girl that looks just like claire
-
Lol, yeah Ikuno starts as boring and lame but she ends up awesome!!!
-
There's also a Raki similar little boy that gets introduced later on that pledges his love to Ikuno and to protect her when he gets older. I guess Yagi loved the hell out of those two characters so he made his next series based around them.
-
Hey now, all his characters were awesome. Except Kuroda-_-

thats funny as I just got to this point in the series and they do seem really similar, demon attacking the kids family etc lol

This manga is hilarious.Probably the most funniest one I ever read.
The chapter 21 is epic.
And I like the one when they tell the hero they must go to the park clean all the "trash" and he's like ok but we need to bring some brooms, thinking they go clean it for real. -
Read it months and months ago.
Tis awesome.
I love manga about stupid delinquents. I dunno why.
Gokusen is great too.
-
Whoa whoa too few people know this manga.
This is (one of) the funniest series I ever read. Was laughing all the time I read it. Full of misunderstandings.
Usually I don't like the type of character that has a Jesus Christ's heart, but I gotta love Kitano.
And reading this made me realize that I am too into battle manga. The author truly knew what is common sense and what is not. -

Oh you did NOT just say that about the legend of Seikichi Kuroda
-
one of the funniest and one that i have reread multiple times.
-
i remember there being a thread for this. Maybe not, though. It's an oldie.

theres been a bit of of talk about it in the claymore thread occasionally
but yeah, one the few mangas that literally made me lol, and it did it frequently.
-
Yeah, this manga was awesome. I laughed pretty much every chapter. I wish I could find another as funny as this one.
-
It's funny and it kept me interested. I read it to the end. Outside of Reborn!, skull jokes form Brook, and Veritas this manga has made me laugh a lot.
-
I have read through chapter 20 and agree that it is pretty funny, but it also seems kind of repetitive. Does this change as the series goes on?
-
this topic has prompted me to read this a third time, maybe it's my fourth. i don't know, all i know is i love this manga. it is in my top three with one piece, and Gunnm (battle angel atlita)

You read too few gag manga. Try Beelzebub, Zippy Ziggy or Gin Tama. There are many others but those are what immediately think of.
-
Bobobobo and Sket Dance also make laugh.
Since it looks like this manga is very good i will go read it then. I wanted to read a new gag manga for a long time.

I read Beelzebub. Doesn't make me laugh. Only reason I read this manga was because of who recommended it to me. If it isn't battle/action/adventure/thriller/psychological - seinen, I'm usually not interested. I like mangas that make me think or take me in to another world of adventure.
I get the majority of my laughs from movies, tv, stand-up, and real life.
-
I showed my brother this manga and he LOVED it. I think its pretty awesome too. Like the girl above said, you'd think a protagonist with a heart of gold would make a boring story but no.

the guy above said
My name is "Sea", not "The guy above".

I have to say that I love Kitano more than any One Piece's character. -
This manga is the shit.
It has gained its place im my top 5 manga series.
-
i liked it also very much, only in the end the writter had no idea where to go with the story
-
This series was very funny in the beginning. And it was a good way of showing how misunderstandings can blind people into seeing what is really in front of them.
I will say that the jokes in the series was getting repetitive near the end and it was definitly the right to end it when it did.@Sea:

That series is hilarious. One of my favourites.

just finished the first few volumes of this '92 series… quite funny so far, despite using the same gag over and over (a la one-punch man)
