I'm having the worst luck ever, recently. I've been searching frantically for a copy of Final Fantasy VI Advance, but the two copies I've recieved so far are blatant forgeries. Needless to say, I returned them and got full refunds. Now, i'm paranoid and cannot seem to confirm a real, genuine copy to buy anywhere. Can anyone help me with this matter, or can anyone offer a legit copy? This is sooooo frustrating!
Grah, Counterfeits!

What do you mean that they're counterfeits? Where did you buy them?

ITT: IMHO
…or just get the ROM fool. You're wasting your money if your buying it for nostalgia sake, since the ONLY version worth playing is Final Fantasy III(SNES). The GBA one has bonus dungeon, WOOOOO who cares?, and the PSX version has bad loading times, more bugs and glitches than any other version, and PSX is unreliable.
And the most important point of all, the FFVI DS release. They remade II/IV on DS in full 3D and all that just like they did with III (DS). And they plan on doing VI (DS) pretty soon in the same manner. I suggest ROM it on SNES, but if your adamant about it get the GBA ROM. The GBA sound quality is the equivalent to liking donuts and eating one thats been dipped in shit frosting but claiming its better because of the sprinkles…

It's impossible to know when a DS remake may be on the way, you know…
BTW, I lost the only auction that seems legit, and reasonably cheap, and I'm really annoyed. Hell, I'm getting desperate - Does anyone have any offers? Or at least better suggestions?

They have it at my local K-Mart. It's like the only GBA game in stock. Try Wal-Mart or K-Mart.

It's not impossible to know when a DS will come out. They're not advertised like next-gen games, but they are in magazines and on-line, not to mention you can generally look at the game in question's website these days for that kind of stuff, especially squarenix.
The GBA game is hard to find these days at major retail stores like wal-mart, but if you're looking for a game, a great place is always Best Buy.

FINALLY. Got myself a legit copy, manual and all for $50 (or rather, £30). I'm glad to finally own this game legally, and it completes my collection of classic FF games (I through VI). Cheers IrishLuigi for the Ebay suggestion - I appreciate it.
