Fellow Canadian here!
…I dunno what to say, so I'll talk about food. Maple syrup is always delicious. I hate eating pancakes in US hotels because all they ever have is shitty corn syrup. I honestly can not understand how anyone would be able to enjoy their pancakes or waffles without maple syrup.
Poutine is also excellent. I went to this one place in Guelph last week called Pierre's Poutine and they served the best tasting poutine I've ever had in my life.
Multiculturism in Toronto has its ups and downs, but the thing about it by far is the food. I'm originally from India, so my parents buy mostly Indian food. They find that you can get a wider variety of Indian food in Toronto than in some major Indian cities, like Bombay.
And the "eh" stereotype is completely true, while the "aboot" thing is completely false. The only time I've ever heard someone say aboot was in Iowa, and I've been all across Canada.
I also love hockey and skiing and taking rides on the local caribou to go play with my inuit friends.
