If you mean Doflamingo's references to Ivankov and Kuma's relationship, I think he's merely inferring from Iva's reactions that the two know each other. If you mean the "already dead" bit, that's a tougher call.

The difference between Magellan and Moria though is we didn't know the extent of Magellans poison reptoire at the time and it was also Luffys first time actually fighting him so we had to assume he wasn't out for the count. We had an entire arc devoted to Moria pulling out all the stops to try and beat the strawhat group and in only about 3-4 panels between two chapters we have seen Moria pull all the same stops again from that arc and in return Jimbei just slaps them aside like they were nothing. Moria may still be up next chapter, but I doubt he will be in a condition to fight with Jimbei further or if he is, he will attempt something he didn't even attempt against Luffys group which to me isn't very likely.

Yeah I meant the "already dead" comment from DoFla. I'm curious to know whether Iva knew the original tyrant, or if he was aware of the 'government dog' cover.
Kuma was made out to be such a horrible person in his pre-warlord days, I can't really imagine him being a revolutionary. Unless his joining is what 'tamed' him into the born-again bible-bearing bear.

Edit: Also, Luffy got absolutely wrecked, he hit Luffy not once, but twice extremely hard. Even if Luffy could hit him I think he would have a hard time against Smoker the way he is at the moment.
I agree that Smoker is fast. But he is using his boring sea stone staff to hit luffy…
I do think that the gear second jet gatling would have been absolutely dangerous to smoker... The only thing which protects him is his logia abilities.
Hancocks kick didn't look that dangerous compared to luffys attack. I mean the dynamic behind luffys attack...
Smoker has 2 deadly weapons his logia abilities and his sea stone staff. Luffy has only his raw strength and rubber abilities at the moment. -

Yeah I doubt Moria will be unconscious or anything, but his roll definitely doesn't seem like it's going to be too extensive at this point. Who knows he might slink off to who knows where after this like Mihawk did and than do something cheap to upset the balance towards the end. We never know.

Luffy took a much harder looking hit from Smoker than Moria did from Jimbei and he got right back up and jet gattling'd, so it would be VERY disappointing if Moria is out for the count from this. I'm not a big Moria fan, but it seems he has a lot less limitations to his power than we thought (sunlight?), so his shadow/necromancy powers are actually shaping up to be pretty cool.
Smoker owning Luffy.. gotta say that jet gattling looked like it should've hurt BAD if he wasn't up against a logia. Well atleast the stage is heavily being set up for Luffy to learn haki now, with Boa Hancock showing him how it's done. Not sure if he'll learn it in the war, maybe after. And kinda curious how everything is gonna evolve with Hancock, now that she has so openly professed her love for Luffy and is fighting by his side.
Ivankov seems to be up against both Kuma and Doflamingo now? Game over for him?..
There are so many interesting characters in this war.. I can understand we don't get to see what all of them are doing. Still I hope we'll soon see some more from Crocodile (he wasn't really captured by those WB thugs was he?), mister 1 Daz Bones (is he pulling a Sanji or something?), and some of the heavy hitters like Akainu, Aokiji, Mihawk.

i don`t know but in my opinion a shichibukai normally asks why a well-known pirate like kuma was suddenly chanced so much…i think the interaction between kuma and vegapunk is not such a big secret under shichibukais..

Well, Ivankov was pretty well informed about the world state and politics in Impel Down.
But what something like "Kuma memory reset" could be common knowledge to some Marine & Shichibukai looking at VP research doesn't mean it's common knowledge at ID.I mean this information had no reason to be communicate to ID staff, so they can't talk about it, and Ivan can't over-hear the conversation.
With Do Flamingo information, I look at Kuma line "We will never meet again" with new eyes. I beginning to think it might be the "old Kuma" who used the last will power remaining to take control (temporary) of his body, allowing the SH to escape.
By doing this, the old Kuma is now "sealed" forever, and even if Kuma body meet Luffy again, it wouldn't be the same person.But we'll learn more next week(s) :).

I say Moria is down for good. I don't think Oda will show us once again what he is capable off and show us that Jimbei is too strong to be a SH.
Same feeling for Boa. Even if both have chances to join. In my eyes both are too strong now. Boa is able to fight Smoker and Jimbei owned an opponent with one punch Luffy wasn't able to do.

That's exactly what I'm worried about. Badass overload. It's starting to get pretty crowded in these chapters, with so many awesome characters, and I want to see all of them get decent page time…but I just don't see that happening, and it probably shouldn't.

Wow, this was a really good chapter. In the end, it turned that Moria didn´t even had blinked eyes, he looks just only pissed because of Jimbei´s punch. That fight is going to bee epic (Until Blackbeard appear and they both stop fighting

I loved Moria´s Scissor blades, have he used them in assgard form against Luffy back in Thriller bark instead of the punches, he would have won for sure after the Black Box move. Buy well, I suposse Luffy is the Main character. -
