Is it just me or do the team seem to be in need of someone that can fend of these foes, maybe there very own flower-petal fruit type girl who can hold the likes of ace, smoker, eneru, etc at bay?

Nope they don´t need one. Luffy already defeated two of them and personally it is more interesting to see how Luffy figures out ways to deal with such opponents instead of having already a definite answer (be it in the form of a new crewmember or a seastone weapon) ready at the first encounter of a new logia adversary.
-
i agree, it is alot more interesting seeing what solutions Luffy comes up in beatign up his enemies. If the straw hats did have a super Logia in their team then it would make the anime alot more boring seeing every other pirate lose in lyk 2 seconds
-
I wonder how Oda is gonna refrain from being repetitive in beating these Logia's (like in movie 4 it was pretty much a recap of Luffy vs Crocodile, but I don't expect Oda to do those things)
-
Robin's abilities are useless against the Logias (as evidenced with Crocodile, Ener, and Aokiji. Especially Aokiji).
-
I can imagine zoro upgrading his swords with seastones, mihawk's sword looks to me like it has a seastone in it, or on it's blade. that would be really good for taking out logia users. and luffy can get the metal thing you put on your fists(don't know how it's called, maybe boxer), and sanji some seastone shoes, and much more of this kind of things.
But then this logia abilities wouldn't make so much fun anymore, to me, the best thing is that you can't get hit, but for luffy to have to find some thing (like water for croc) to be able to defeat them, would be to repetative.

**Well I think that those seastone upgrade´s would appear out of place for any of the Strawhats. It just ruins the dramatic build up in surpassing yourown limits during a fight.
However I really do like your idea in general. Actually I would really like to see a character who´s shoes, gloves and maybe weapons are all upgraded with seastones. Would be a really cool adversary IMO. :)

Unless, of course, their enemy isn't a DF user.
I don't have a prob with Nami or Usopp getting seastone, but I don't think I'd like it if they got a person just for that.
And what'd you mean by "flower-petal girl"?
Fire, Ice, Smoke, Sand, Lightning > Flower petals -
I like the idea of Usopp using bits of SeaStones as ammo. An imbedded bullet in a Logia user's back: WOOT!

Actually I meant it would be cool to have such a guy as a villain. Having such upgrades wouldn´t just stop logia but all DF users. He could actually take down Luffy, Robin and Chopper alone.

Thanks for asking Buc. I was wondering what that meant myself but I didn´t want to ask since I´ve asked to much of such "I don´t get what you mean" questions lately. :)

_You mean like shooting kryptonite at Superman? Yeah, it would definitely work. Maybe we´ll see it at some point of the story.

Logia type is too strong…Putting Logia type would take the fun out of it...They cant exceed them if they already have a too powerful logia person on board.
But flower petal, or plant plant DF doesnt sound that strong...That would be cool. -
By flower petal girl, he/she probably means Robin. Whenever she sprout arms, flower petals are seen flying everywhere, right?
-
No, she's not a logia…Flower petal, meaning, can turn to flower petals, or leaves...

I was just wondering, what type of DF did Don Flamingo eat, i dont think they fall into any of the DF catogories.. maybe its a whole new type of DF, cause im thinking that dragon ate a special DF too as he can control the weather (well it looks like it)

**you're right they are all stronger and it's a rather pointless attack unless the enemy has hayfever but that's the point really, it's a largely defensive style and it would still take inginuity and creativity to make attacks using the style. but defensively it's sound as any part the enemy goes to attack could turn into flowers and thus no damage is taken.

Hey, if your flower petals go with thorns and sharp things…That would be good for me!

I for one think that we still didn´t really see how Doflamingo controls his victims. It could be just like Jedi and Sith use the force in Star Wars. But on the other hand in chapter 9 when Buggy first used his DF power for the first time, or chapter 114 when Nico Robin used her DF power for the first time it also appeared as if she was "using the force". But later we found out how both of them did it.
I´m not saying that Doflamingo ain´t controling them. But maybe he´s got some puppet strings coming out of his fingers with which he can control the others. The power is still kept a secret by Oda. It could be an option. If he really controls characters with using strings then I´m sure that it would be a paramecia type Devil Fruit.
However it is to early to say anything definite. It´s just an assumption.
