I recently reinstalled Windows XP and now when I play videos they look like this:

I'm using a model SR1603WM Compaq, and it's got an ATI Radeon Xpress 200 graphics card inside. I tried using http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=228&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=1118242#N2022 and it didn't work. What do I do? Thanks!
Since it's not only in the videos but in the graphics as well it's probably something with the drivers. Maybe you should try the drivers from the AMD Homepage. I never had problems with drivers I downloaded from HPs site, but it doesn't hurt to try it out right? If AMD has the same file and version, I didn't say anything.

I re-installed the display driver (From the link in my previous post) and Ivankov is still a jumbled mess.

What program are you using for video playback? You might want to try out VLC media player if you're not using it already.
Well don't use the link from your post then. Also google told me xpress 200 is not a graphic card, but a lot more. A chipset. Your graphic card is probably a x300. @ Sevin: If you take a look the the picture that was posted, you can see that the problem exists outside video display AND the person just downloaded VLC…

VLC is rubbish, its only saving grace is that all the filters are internal so nothing extra is needed.
CCCP is what he wants if it's a playback issue, but if his icons are still distorted, then his video player/codecs are of no consequence.
I checked the icons again and they seem to be better. I also went to the part with Ivankov on the ground and it's still really bad. I'm using Media Player Classic with CCCP. I could never get VLC to work properly before this, so I tried it and it's worse. VLC had all the blockyness before I re-installed so I never used it, and Media Player Classic never had a problem. I downloaded and installed that ATI Catalyst and it didn't do anything. In the screenshot shows the name of my graphics card in the DirectX and Device Management screens. I didn't install DirectX or ActiveX, do I need to download either of those things?

You should download the latest version of Direct X 9 anyway.
What renderer are you using in MPC? To check, while in MPC click on View->Options->Playback/Output-> and tell me what you have in DirectShow Video.
Alright it seems to be fixed. I opened up the settings for CCCP and checked the box next to MT and it seems to be fixed. If I run into problems again I'll post here. Thanks for all the help!
