Has anyone seen fandubs before? i havent, but what ive heard, there suppose to be really funny cuz they're so bad. also if u have links. share em

I remember AP once gave out a link to fandub… but I don't know if I still have them on my hdd... >.>
Once I listened to Death Note fan-voice-acting, and that was lame.

I was working on a One Piece fandub a while back, episode 4. I got everyone's lines for it, it's just Shanks' voice ended up really sucking so I didn't feel motivated to finish it. I did a clip with Mohji and Luffy (and I did the voice of Mohji – although I sound NOTHING like I'd want a dub Mohji to sound like), and I was going to do episode 65 but never got around to it.
Other than that, the link Shylu gave is the best place for fandubs. And I do quite a bit of voices for that site (I go by Akerin on that site) so yay, you can hear me!
I think there's another One Piece fandub in the works, at least this girl was talking about it, but I don't know if things will fall through or not.

I want to do one but I dont have the stuff like a mic and a good place to do the voice work in, I think I could do an good Luffy and an ok Usopp but I dont know about the others.

I actually found those two One Piece fandubs AP.com listed like a year ago. I didn't check (and I've never watched), but by looking at the file names, I'm almost sure those are the ones. I wonder if that's distributable?

i would love to do some voice acting, but alas, i lack a mic. they can't be terribly expensive though.

I remember those fandubs AP people made! xDD I downloaded one but I didn't have Video Lan or any codecs so all that came up was the sound. The theme song was hilarious as heck. I do remember that it was the Scorpion man episode though.

[snapback]80183[/snapback]I've been through many microphones (been AVAing for several years) but my most recent mic I got for like a dollar at some computer store and it works excellently. I didn't think it would and I just bought it because it looked cute, but it actually works great.

I remember when I was younger, I used to dabble in stuff like this. I've never done anything professional, however. Although, I did study theatre and acting for a long time, let's say I had my differences with the British industry, somehow.
That being, I thought it sucked, and finding work is hard.
I also lack a Mic, right now. But I was considering getting one. The whole concept is sweet, but.. obviously, hard work. I'd definitely be into it, if I was ever offered such a fun project.
