I don´t see why Nami who´s a world class thief should not be on a wanted list. If she steals the wrong things from the wrong people you can bet your ass that she´ll get herself a bounty. Not because of her strenght but because there´s nobody she couldn´t steal stuff from. And last time I checked thieves are wanted criminals. :P

a threat is still a threat, no matter how big or how small. plus if someone is a small threat, they give them a small bounty in case they become a bigger threat, then they raise the bounty.

she has stolen plenty in the past and this latest arc isn't finished yet so who knows what she'll do.
and about the small bounty, i'll give you an example of what i mean. say a guy kills a few members of the marines then ran away and the marines know who he is. that guy will be a wanted criminal. now his bounty won't be in the millions cuz all he did was kill some marines so it might be in the thousands. see what i mean? then if he continues to kill people and get away, his bounty will increase and he'll become a bigger threat to the government.

Well going by that logic Sanji hasn´t kicked enough butt to get himself a bounty either. He will probably get a bounty now but the WG doesn´t know of him yet.
Nami on the other hand stole the key to the armory of Wapol, which could be interpreted that she aided bringing down a monarch who is sitting in the World Government. That is actually pretty much threatful behaivour.
But even without that Nami and Sanji both don´t have a bounty yet. Sanji probably will get one and as long as this arc isn´t finished we don´t know if Nami won´t be stealing something that might be helpful in bringing CP9 down.
Other then that the argument that they can assasinate her hold no water. She is a Strawhat Pirate and would be listed as one of she gets a bounty on her head. And right now it should be known that you don´t attack a strong pirates nakama. If you do so why didn´t Buggy bring down the sleeping Ace then? ;)

And bountys are not just from strenght, Nami is a very good thief and can sail a ship like few others. Solid, I was thinking about that you said on msn before. That if Usopp get a bounty over 30 millions, he will not suvive very long. But, if we see to what people who have a bounty of like 30 millions, I think Usopp would kick all of those ass's. Hell yeah, he would maybe have a chance against Bellamy. About 50-60 and I'm satisfied.

I already said that I´m aware that Sanji will be known to the WG after this arc etc. And yet you reply to my post telling me the exact same thing that I´ve just mentioned myself. Zoro actually got a bounty because the defeated a high agent of Baroque Works plus taking down 100 bounty hunters from the same criminal orginasation in Whiskey Peak so there´s no reason why taking down criminals doesn´t get you a bounty.
Besides Luffy didn´t get 30 million on his head because he messed with Nezumi but because he defeated Buggy, Krieg and Arlong. At least that´s what Brandnew told everyone in Marine HQ.

but he got the amount of 30.000.000 cause when they researched him they found out that he had defeated the 3 strongest pirates in east blue.

If you randomly give everyone high bounties, they actually don't mean anything anymore. I don't think Nami, Usopp and Chopper deserve bounties atm. Sanji does, b/c he's on par with Zoro and also very eager to fight. (plus he whipped a bunch of marines now so he's gonna get a bounty regardless) I know what you're gonna say.. but they DO deserve one, they beat some decent people and they have some dangerous skills.. but they don't have the "mass dextruction" potential of say Zoro, who can take out whole crowds of lesser fry. Also imagine Nami, Usopp or Chopper being pitched against Alvida (the old one). Wouldn't be an easy fight, and she's a mere 5 mil. Or against Buggy, they'd probably lose. He's 15 mil.
A lot of people here seem to suffer from the DragonBall power level syndrome and equate bounty with combat ability.
If I were the Marine, I would put a very high bounty on Nami on the grounds that she's the Strawhats' navigator. Without Zoro, Usopp and Sanji, the crew can still survive but without Nami they would be severly crippled against the Grandline seas. Plus Nami is not super in combat so theoretically it would be easier for bounty hunters to catch Nami.
Aren't navigators "easier" to come by though than a powerful warrior? I mean, in a pinch, I can see Zoro or Sanji learning how to read maps and determine location with the stars, but I can't see Nami filling in anyone else's shoes.
Yep as I said before. The fact alone that she´s with the Strawhats should be proof enough that it is tough to get through to her. She was alongside Luffy when he fought the toughest villains and yet everyone keeps nagging that Bounty Hunters would get her easily because she is weak. Hello! We are talking about a character who stole treasure from pirates since she was a little kid. She sure know´s how to be on the run.
Other then that no Bounty Hunter would be that stupid not to calculate that Straw Hat Luffy wouldn´t protect his navigator if somebody comes for her.

Apparently nobody could fill Nami´s shoes. Nami is as special as anybody else in the gang. Her skills allow her to predict the weather which is an important skill if you want to sail through the Grand Line. Saying that Sanji or Zoro could learn that is if I said that she could practically learn Santoryu or Sanji´s kicking style. In fact that is actually more easy to learn since it is just fighting styles, while her weather prediction is a gift she was born with.
well then the smart bounty hunters would just wait til they got her alone and then catch her thus avoiding the wrath of luffy,
but nami will probably never get a bounty nor would she want one she would totaly freak out if she got one :lol:
Well seeing that the World Government even wants to execute people who just aided the Pirate King (Tom-san) I don´t see any reason why not everybody from the future Pirate Kings´s crew shouldn´t get a bounty. So far they don´t know that Luffy will be that. But the moment they realize that Luffy will get that far they will also realize that everybody who tries to bring him that far must be catched and executed. And to do so these guys would require a bounty. :D
Besides, the most important thing about how the boutnies work is that the WG gives bounties to what people did and not to their little character´s flaws. Usopp and Nami mostly avoid a fight, but that doesn´t mean that they don´t fight if the situation requires it. And if they fight and emerge victorious then this is the product that earns them a bounty and not the fact that they ran away etc. Their characters features aren´t important here. Or else I could claim that being hungry all the time aswell as being incredibly stupid is also a main factor of determing Luffy´s bounty.
Luffy does it all the time, but it´s not what got him the bounty. It´s who he defeated that got him the bounty. And if Nami defeats a strong person and steals from the wrong guys then she definitely should get one. That´s how a WG works. They don´t care for her running away. It is just important that she is able to do dangerous things if the situation requires it and therefore she is a threat.
