Wheras Nami has bene a cypher of her former self since Arlong mostly being used largely as just gratuitous fanservice, destroying what ws once a great character. She's been demeaned in every way as the series has gone on, and ts a shame. The kalipha fight was terrible, and her rape scene with Absalom that followed it up was shit too. Shame, she was once a great character.
You disappoint me.
The way you talk it sounds like you're either discrediting or flat out ignoring everything of worth Nami has done since Arlong Park. Taking up the mantle of fighter in Alabata, figuring out how the navigate the Knock-Up stream, discovering that Skypiea was part of Jaya and later on being the one to help Luffy reach the Maxim. Not to mention all the stuff from Water-7. If anything Nami's one of the characters that has developed the most since East Blue. Yeah Thriller Barc was pretty awful for her, basically what EL was to Usopp. But she'll bounce back.
