Looking to be a must-have game for me.
The game does look cool, but I will say both titles are pretty terrible. Generic title generator 2.0 must have been used. 
Lol, my thoughts exactly.
I was looking at this since tri-Ace announced it. Looks like a more modernized Valkyire Profile(detailed pre-rendered backgrounds) with Silmeria combat gone a bit more real-time(though it's turned based).
I'm looking forward to this as I'm a big tri-Ace nut that played every single game they made(except the VP that was made for DS).
I can't read this site, but there's apparently a feature to change the characters' appearances.
Maybe ill get this game.
tri-Ace always makes great games if you don't count the two most recent console blunders.
I thought IU was a decent game. Severely rushed and unfinished yes, but I enjoyed it. It could have worked a bit more on fleshing out the world(as in secrets, field hazards, ect), Connect skills, Enemy AI, and the secondary characters that join in the end. Overall though, the game bought back old school elements and envronments that actually felt dangerous. Shame MS rushed the game… Same thing for Radiata Stories.
Star Ocean 4 however had absolutely no soul in it. It's probably one the the worst tri-Ace games I ever played and this isn't on a list from favorite to least favorite. Too much rehash of cheap spamming battle elements, very limited Item Creation,worst bonus dungeons ever , worst main character ever, and a "power of friendship" mood in a place where it does not belong. I suppose an otaku can get a charm out of it, though Bacchus and Welch were not bad.
The bugs killed IU for me really.
And Radiata Stories is like, one of my favorite games.
Bugs? Like what specially? I did not notice glitches on my 2 plays.
Overworld and battle mostly gave me some slowdowns. I saw a similar complaint in a magazine review so I assumed it was common. My copy did have a blockbuster sticker in the instructions so I think it's stolen anyway.
Slowdowns? Never noticed anything like that. I know there's a small pause when you strike and enemy with a critical, but that's more visual effect than anything. Too bad you could not finish it though.

Man, this game is loud. So, the character customization is more or less you can find and unlock different outfits, eye colors, hair styles, etc… and not character customization in the extreme sense?
Awesome. I wonder how deep the customization is going to be. That battle had a ton of item drops. It seems you get them from body breaking(like Valkyrie Profile Silmeria), Smackdowns, and some other ways I probably missed. Also, it seems that the more you run, the more shots you get on the select target, and if you manage you line up the characters to corner an enemy, you get a tri-attack. That's pretty much all I can interpret. It should be fun, though I'm a bit worried how boss battles may out. VP2's bosses limited the use of many of the game's mechanics.
My friend's been telling me all about this game, and I'll get based on his recommendation ^_^;
Either way next year's gonna be the great depression for games in March (even if Super SF4 gets delayed)…

Playable Demo now on the Japanese PSN. I downloaded and will play it later.
I played the demo. It's fun, but it still felt like it was a bit in development stage. It's either that, or the game does not throw a curve ball till the midpoint of the game(like Valkyrie Profile 2)

I just looked it up to see if there were any reviews of it yet, and Famitsu gave it 34 out of 40, but then I noticed some of the comments at the bottom, and I just have to say, what the fuck are they thinking? March 9th?!?! MARCH 9TH?!?!…

I started playing it, so far it's entertaining, I'm only 4 hours in though, so waiting for the story to pan out a bit.
Doesn't help I'm also playing a 50-100 hour game on the DS at the same time.
