A new movie by Quentin Tarantino 🆒 . It's basically about a group of soldiers who are sent into Germany to kill as many Nazis as they can. Their goal is 100 Nazi scalps, and Brad Pitt wants his scalps.

This is the other movie I'm anticipating besides District 9. And I got to make both threads  .

Is there any way to post an HD video here?

        <===Big Tarantino fan

Love how this looks. Just a movie revelling in its own badass. It's not trying to win an oscar, or make audiences tear up, or make Roger Ebert spooge in his pants… No, it's a motherfucker. The movie equivalent of Stone Cold Steve Austin. For this, I shall go see this movie.

And that is why I love Tarantino. Fuck the artsy-fartsy Mystic River bullshit, the man makes balls-to-the-wall, honest-with-itself entertainment! And he does it with great cinematography, directing, and incredibly realistic dialogue!

Well, I think Roger Ebert has liked all of Tarantino's moves anyway 😆

But yeah, I'm a huge Tarantino fan and I'm really looking foward to this. Dang, I can't believe it's only a week and a half from the release date. So awesome!

Heard about this idea many years ago, so i gotta check it out. As long as it doesn't have any 50 minute pointless dialogue stuff like from Death Proof, then I'm sure it will be a good Tarantino film.

I've been a fan of his for awhile and enjoyed most of his work but yea, Death Proof was my least liked Tarantino film. When i heard about this idea of his years back, it was supposed to have Michael Madsen and…maybe John Travolta too(Vega Brothers or maybe that was another idea)...can't remember since it was a ways back and i never followed up on it. I sure the new cast will do fine, Brad Pitt can be funny.

Death Proof was an awful movie. I still can't believe Tarantino made it. All of his other films are fantastic… you just want to forget Death Proof.

i love tarantino's films.in every film he always have interesting characters and the action scenes are done so well.I'm really excited for this film

death proof wasn't that bad i liked its themes and it's little homage to kill bill.when i heard that twisted nerve ring tone i thought to my self i need that ring tone.also the song at the end credits was catchy.

I actually liked Death Proof Kurt Russel (wannabe John Wayne) was rather good in it, the 1st half of the movie stunk but the 2nd half was pure win (for me anyways)

I'm a huge tarantino fan and I heard about this movie being talked about a good 4 years ago. Now seeing as how this is becoming an actual movie i'm stoked. My favorite QT movie is his first: Reservoir Dogs

I think for me it's a tie between Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.

The thing I like about Pulp Fiction is that it has multiple storylines and I like movies with more than one storyline. Reservoir Dogs is just pure style 🆒 .

i have to say i loved kill bill the most.the way the characters just shined was the best. even though veronica green only had like only 10 to 15 minutes in the movie she still stood out as an assassin.bill was so bad ass with out doing any thing. it was very"wow", it was kind of chilling when he spoke.

also iron monkey was very good so that's my second choice from his movies.

Iron Monkey? tarantino has only made 6 movies which he both wrote and directed himself: Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jacky Brown, Kill Bill (part 1 and 2 are actually 1 movie tarantino said so himself), Death Proof, Inglorious Basterds (his latest being the 6th).

Indeed, Iron Monkey was just like Hero and some other films, made in Hong Kong without any involvement from Quentin. He just got a "presented by" credit for getting them released in America by Miramax.

Jackie Brown is "ok". Sam Jackson and Deniro are great in it, but it's kind of dull sometimes. Not one of QT's stronger movies.

Someone seriously thought Tarentino made Iron monkey😁😁😁?
I saw that movie years before they nerfed it in the states. The unedited version is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than that american crap. They cut so much and the voices are just terrible.

I agree with ya on Jackie Brown. I liked all the actors, they all did a good job, even Debo, but there were some dull moments. None the less, i enjoyed it.

Amazing movie, definitely buying it on Blue-Ray.

I do wonder how many people were off-put by reading subtitles 90% of the movie. Nobody in my theatre complained but I have been in a few movies with people complaining about having to read.

Considering the ending, and the premise itself, I wish DC would be able to make "Red Son" as a movie.

Also, kinda annoying that they subbed some "common" french and german words…themselves (Merci = merci, Monsieur, etc.)

Christoph Waltz is a fantastic actor. Brad Pitt was great too, and so damn funny. As for the movie itself, I thought the story and the action and everything else was great. The whole basement scene with the German actress seemed a bit tedious and went on a bit too long I thought, but otherwise no complaints. Definitely buying it on DVD.

! The German actress got her comeuppance.

                                                                                    .

This doesn't have anything to do with the movie, but when I was watching the movie previews and ads I was pleasantly surprised to see an ad for the Eureka Seven movie. It wasn't a full theatrical trailer, but it was an ad they showed before the coming attractions. Anyone else see that?

Coudnt disagree more, that scene was the very high point in the entire movie.

Now Brad Pitt's joke dialect went on too long and was tedious. Heck every Brad Pitt less scene was great, all he did was bring down the rating for this flick. Whilte Waltz on the other hand, is pure gold. That man needs every award that can be given out for his performance.

And i thought it was pretty intresting that the germans were portrayed as mostly normal people while the americans were blood thirsty psychos who were worse than the gestapo. Very intresting take on it indeed.

When its on a high it blows you away but there's a couple of lacklustar scenes in betwenn. But i guess that's pretty much classic Tarantino right there, Even Pulp Fiction dragged a bit.

I didn't get that until Hugo's flashback. To me it just looked a bunch of people I had never even seen before talking about nothing. I guess that's why it seemed tedious to me.

Looking forward for the DVD …

Very intresting take on it indeed.

It's played for laughs, though, because the entire movie is a "KILL THOSE MOTHERFUCKIN' NAZIS!!!!!!!" fantasy piece, and makes no bones about being such. So, it has fun with it and runs with it. This is why the movie is awesome. It's like if Call of Duty players really could go mow down some Nazis in real life.
