Ha ha, Sweetpea and Aphelandra get no love. Even in the manga people weren't overly torn up about their fates, and Luffy was even actively ignoring them when they were all restored.

I was so anticipating the new trailer… I hoped they delayed it just to show it after this episode.
Hard to judge when Keyhole was dying every 30 seconds, but Luffy's punch and the sisters' transformation at the end looked prety good.
No trailer yet, btw..did they really announce it for 08/08?
Since Keyhole lagged from time to time, I missed a few parts, buit overall it looked like a decent episode. As expected they showed how Luffy got captured after fleeing from Boa.
And looks like they won't finish the Luffy vs. Snake sisters next week and make Ch. 520 it's own episode, which probably is gonna suck.

Next week's action scenes look pretty awesome, save for Sandersonia dodging Luffy's Gatling; that looks lame, but it can't really be helped. Looks like Magellan's poison is going to be purple once the anime gets that far.
Still have no idea how they're going to drag that chapter out to episode length. I guess they could have some flashbacks to Skypiea, but other than that…
The scene from here to here was a bit prolonged by some chasing scene but that's expected after all.. I might have felt like it because Luffy's being chased for the last couple of episodes also.

Yeah, it wasn't bad filler but I don't think we want one piece to get dragonball z syndrome. I think some cover stories in the near future such as hatchi's (they could explain how Hatchi met camie, opened the fish stand and ultimently meet up withe Straw hats again) or even ace's since he will be very important soon.
the punch was freaking epic.
I loved the punch and Luffy's face. Kinda like the charlos punch. Some good animation

Some bad art…here and there, happens in every episode, it's a long running series which being produced weekly. So expect some inconsistency.
Anyway, This episode was surprisingly awesome...Some awesome animators worked in the episode. Probably new animators.
That's what happens when you keep your expectations really low.
Luffy is just Badass.
Next week looks awesome as well. I love it when we get 3 nicely animated episodes in a row.

Pretty equal to me. The only difference is vertical stoke shading, but you can't use it in anime, cause the style is a bit different now. They could do the lines thicker though…
Pretty good episode, liked it. The "oh no, noro noro beam" thing was funny, although I already knew the gag from the manga. And they dropped the kiddy animation on Boa saying she is beautiful, that was good too.

There is an ad for the anime with a pic in the new Jump magazine that shows Luffy in Gear 2nd form and Franky behind him. It's say late August.
I don't know if it have anything to do with the new filler, it could be just a filler flashback for Luffy during the fight in which he remembers his crew.

Most people have the sense not to argue with Lion-chan anymore so now he just likes to pretend.

What were you focusing on? 
Funny thing, nobody commented on Luffy's hat at some points…Cause it was similar to Tate's design in the previous episode.
