Well, not really much to comment on, but hopefully it will be good.
Yeah! I hope so too!
Sigh Bayformers…..
Its just an animation test. Its not final. And besides, the writing might make up for it….hopefully.
Cheap generic CGI like that gives me a headache. No way in hell am I watching 22 minutes of that a week. They can keep it.
…...... o_o.
This aint going to end well.
I was hoping for 2D, but I'll withhold opinion until I see what how the story writing and cast is.
The scripwriters are from the movie….So Yeah. O_O
Well, that's just Prime.
Ummm….Yes?
BTW Man, your avi is cool.
The CGI really looks quite dated, but since it's just the animation test I assume the production team plans to improve on the CGI visuals before the series release (if not, they're absolutely nuts). I've read the show is supposed to have 26 episodes in the first season, so we'll see how that effects the overall quality.

According to the character designer's blog, the show is supposed to be a "groundbreaking mix of 2D animation and CGI." So, I suppose that means that at least some segments of the show will be in 2D.

Really? Well, that's…..yeah.
Wow… that is alot of transformers in a short time.
Sigh Bayformers…..
The hilarious part is Hasbro took a page from Bay. Look at how many times they pimped their own name in that trailer.

The human's personalities will be 2D.

LOL UR SO FUNNY LOL….
Im only mocking you cuz you are totally right.
They even have cannon fodder Decepticons. Ugh, well, i can complain about it as much as i like, but i'm still gonna end up watching it….
Do we even know if it will be available?
October, on the new HUB channel.
For us Canadians who want to check this out, and don't get The Hub, some news:
Corus Television has acquired a slate of Hasbro Studios’ animated series, including Transformers Prime and G.I Joe Renegades, for its Canadian kids-themed TV networks.
…Concerning the Corus deal, the toymaker’s media production and distribution arm also licensed to the Toronto-based company Pound Puppies, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and The Adventures of Chuck and Friends.
...The shows, produced by Hasbro Studios, will air on Corus’ YTV, Treehouse, Nickelodeon Canada, Teletoon and Teletoon Retro networks.
Call me a GeeWan all you want, but I saw the first few episodes today, and I gotta say I am not impressed.
Did they really did they have to appeal to the new generation of Transformers fans that only watched the movie? I can understand that G1 is dead and is not coming back but cmon, did they really have to make bumblebee talk like a freakin' junkion again like in the movie? And Bulkhead? As if Bayformers wasn't enough they just had to add Bulkhead. >_>
I think the biggest gripe come from Megatron's voice. I could not believe it was freakin' Frank Welker. The Megatron I knew had that siniester raspy voice and now he doesn't even remotely sound close to his G1 counterpart, I mean Peter Cullen does a great job as Optimus as always but I guess ever since Bay told Welker that his own voice was "not Megatron enough" he's been using a new voice for Megs cause of that and I don't like it. We want a G1 Voice Welker not a Hugo Weaving impersonation! Welker based his voice on G1 Megatron on that one episode of Robot Chicken, so why couldn't he just do the same for this show?
Geez Why am I ranting over a kids show?
Because in the last 20 years there hasn't been anything transformers related to pull inspiration from except G1 and the Bay Movies >_>
Bulkhead is totally not even a main cast member here.

Welker can't do the Megatron voice anymore. He said so himself. If you watched Robot Chicken, you can hear that he can't hit the same notes he used to. Instead of doing a wooden performance of the old Megatron voice, he decided to go with a new spin with it for Prime.
Also, Bulkhead was from Animated.
I don't mind this show taking more from movie-verse, though Bumblebee not having a voice for no reason pisses me off. If all the new cartoons are going to do is keep thumping the old book of G1, then you're never going to appreciate them for what they are. Animated was a fine way to end all the throwbacks. I would prefer something new.
Ep 4 was intense! I love the way the Autobots stormed the ship and stood down Starscream.
it'll be a looong wait till February (here's hoping they don't re-premier it and we end up having to wait another 5 weeks beyond eps we've seen already)
