I came up with a great idea. We all put on make-up & dress like Chopper, go to Al Kahn, get him really drunk, and tell him everything we want him to change in the dub. And since he's dunk and we're looking like Chopper, he'll do the changes we want. It's fool-proof!

Maybe Kahn died or something I mean with the uncuts starting to come out a again.
Of course, the DVD's are most likely going to be priced at an equivelent of $10 an episode. (3 eps for 30 dollars?) But who knows, if this iPod video is successful, you might be able to one day get uncuts for 2 dollars an ep and watch them on your iPod video. (Or buy them from the Japan site and cut out the Khan men….)

Well, I'm happy that Chopper's past turned out fine. Of course it doesn't excuse EVERYTHING they've done to the series so far…. But at least if they keep making episodes with the care they gave to Chopper's past.... Future episodes won't..... Suck as much?

As far as I'm concerned, there wasn't a single redeeming moment in the dubbed Arlong arc, while this arc has a least a past that is faithful to the original. That alone makes it better.
Yeah, I know 4Kids still sucks. Of course they do. I'll never forget what they did to the Arlong arc up till skipping Little Garden. But… As I said... I will give them credit when they at least try, and I feel that Chopper's past was handled very well. Of course in the original it was better (really.... nothing is EVER going to top the original) but still.... This episode was dubbed good. Nothing story wise was changed, they allowed some weird stuff fly for a TVY7 saturday morning show, and (even though not nearly as impactful) some of the emotion was still there. I still sheded a tear for Chopper (believe it or not) so to me... It's still sad.
I'm just not one of those people who watches every single episode of the dub and always say... "Yeah, I hate the dub." That's been established.... I know the dubs crap already. So that's why I rate episodes sepreately and fairly. Granted there's alot of stinkers.... But I also feel that there are a few decent ones.
If you hate the voices so much that you can't even sit through an ENTIRE episode.... Then I'm wondering why your still watching the dub. To state the same things about Sanji's voice sucking? That's been established already.

You'd be surprised as to how many people haven't heard what the voices were like till now. Heck, just last night I had a lot of users say they've never heard of Sanji's voice, or ever knew he had a lollipop until I showed some clips. They didn't know about laboon, nor did they know about Smoker.

Yeah, um… my brother's big for a 5-year old. I'm six feet and he comes up over my waist. We just get Al Kahn drunk, get my bro to memorize what should be changed (or have someone dressed as the other crew members after "Chopper" tells Al to listen to them), and it should work fine.
