Holy hell, I wouldn't sell that if I were you.. unless you're quitting gaming for now, but you'd still get a lot of money for that.

I know. it's killing me inside, but it's an emergency.

I am not sure of amazon and craig's list, etc, but I usually use ebay to buy or sell my things.

Participate in research studies at your university. Particularly in anything psychology, physiology of nutrition related. For those, the impact on your life is minimal, for the psychology ones it might even be a few hours, and you can earn up to $400 (in my view, the best I've found thus far is a low-impact $100) if you participate in multiple, non-overlapping studies.
Some studies for example pay you $20 for a blood test. Seeing as a blood test is only like 3 minutes, that's darn good money.

Their commission rate is way too high.
BTW, serious question, do you have a job?

…haven't been able to find work for the summer.
I'd say he's a teenager that only works over the summer and this summer wasn't able to find a job.

I thought I remember reading somewhere that he was 20. If so, and he didn't have a job and REALLY needed money, he could lower his standards and apply to EVERYWHERE (a lot of places let you apply online so there wouldn't really be any excuse on why not to apply).
